PERSONAL
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1996. Postgraduate studies
include the University of Chicago and a Stanford University program. A native of Michigan, Chris has
called Chicago home for the past eighteen years, living in Evanston, Lincoln Park and Bucktown. He is a
member of the Wicker Park/Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, the Council on Foreign Relations, Museum

Since it’s inception, @properties has emphasized philanthropy as a core value. Their efforts are
largely directed toward the local communities in which we (the agents) live and work. As a longtime
volunteer and supporter of the Off the Street Club, I am very happy to be
part of an environment that works toward building better lives and providing hope

OFF THE STREET CLUB
Founded in 1900, OTSC is Chicago’s oldest boys and girls club and serves more than 3,000 kids.
Housed in a kid-friendly complex in West Garfield Park, the Off The Street Club gives 4- to 18-year-old
kids a place to do their homework or play computer games in the Learning Center; perform plays in
the Performing Arts Center; dance, rollerskate, sing, and play musical instruments; express themselves
through arts and crafts and woodshop; and more. Off The Street Club kids have mentors, tutors and role
models; girls can experience real “girl power” and heightened self-esteem in the Girls Center, while boys
and girls together can meet and interact safely and respectfully throughout the Club.
Ralph Campagna, the OTSC executive director, grew up at the club. His compassion, devotion and love
is the very heart and soul of the Club. He leads a dedicated and caring staff whose members are the
inspirational guiding light of the Club and uphold the Club motto, “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll
fall for anything.”

Dear Friends,
I am honored to write this letter on behalf of Christopher Mundy. I first met Chris in 1999, when he began
volunteering with the Off The Street Club thru our New Horizons Program. The program connects young
professionals from the Chicago community with kids from the Club as mentors. Monthly community field
trips have included such events as White Sox games, trips to Navy Pier, the Barnum & Bailey Circus,
Lincoln Park Zoo, ice skating at Millennium Park and the I-Max, to name just a few. Chris would attend
on a regular basis, usually bringing a few additional friends, as well as his contagious enthusiasm and
boundless energy.
This was just the beginning.
Chris has gone on to be a regular volunteer with the Club for more than ten years; attending such annual
events as the summer cookout at Camp Mathieu, the Halloween pumpkin carving contest, Thanksgiving
dinner, the Garfield Park neighborhood tour and the annual Holiday luncheon.
Three years ago, Chris wanted to raise his level of commitment to the Club and started donating a portion
of each of his sales commissions to the Club. The contributions have been valued and appreciated;
offering us a small bonus on a quarterly basis to fund a few additional items for the kids. Chris’ most
recent contribution was a variety of sports equipment for the gym; including basketballs, footballs and
soccer balls. The kids continue to enjoy these gifts each and every day!

Jane’s private banquet room in Bucktown hosted
Chris Mundy’s 5th Annual Client Appreciation
party on Thursday, November 6. Attendees sampled
signature cocktails sponsored by Double Cross Vodka
and William Wolf pecan bourbon; the tasting menu
included crab cakes, rare tuna rolls, caprese skewers,
beef tenderloin crostini and grilled chicken satays.
Door prizes included a night at the Four Seasons,
dinner at Fig & Olive, a custom dress-shirt donated
by Adrian Park, limited edition Wrigley Field Wine,
Vosges chocolate truffles and gift certificates to West
Elm. The night ended with a special presentation and
$1,000 donation to the Off the Street Club; a charity
Chris has worked with and volunteered at for the
past ten years. We thank all those who attended and
look forward to next years event. A special thanks to
Mike Anderson and the Anderson Financial Group for
their continued support and co-hosting the event.

Christopher Mundy has proven that he’s a
survivor when it comes to keeping his business
strong through the 2008-2012 real estate
recession. When the recession hit in the fall of
2008, he had only been in the business for three
short years. Mundy sustained business success
through the market correction, demonstrating that
his dedication to the well being of each client
would lead to future success.
“The downturn eliminated a lot of brokers from
the business, but showing my clients and peers
that I could survive proved critical,” he says. “I
never missed the chance to seize the moment, so
when the market finally turned in 2013, it led to a
record year with more than $25 million in sales.”
That is not to say he hasn’t had successful
years in the past. Since 2005, the Chicago
Association of Realtors has recognized Mundy
as a top producer. He was also awarded
@properties’ “Hardest Working Agent” award
in 2010, has been the recipient of the Five Star
Award since 2011 (which fewer than 7 percent of
Chicago agents receive) and was a “Road to the
Rolex” recipient in 2013.

STAGING STAGING STATISTICS
Staging will make your home selling process less stressful, will bring more attention to your property and
in many cases sell faster and or for more money.
Overall, professional stagers agree that staging a property prior to going on the market benefits everyone
involved with the sale and purchase of the property. Professional stagers recommend repairs and
upgrades that are needed to get the property in “market ready condition.”
Staging also shows buyers the property’s true potential.
Buyers often do not have the funds to purchase a home and pay more money to address repairs, painting,
etc. Buyers realize and appreciate the benefits of purchasing a professionally staged property.
• Professionally staged homes present and show better than competing houses for sale, including new
construction homes and higher-priced houses.
• Staged properties will sell faster when compared with houses that have not been staged. From the
date of listing until the day of closing, home staging shortens this time frame, even in a slow real
estate market.
• Staged properties can increase the number of offers and selling price in hot markets.
• Buyers view professionally staged listings as “well-maintained.’
• Buyers’ agents recognize that professionally staged listings are “move-in” ready and are inclined to
show staged properties.
• Photos of professionally staged listings look better on the MLS, as well as in print.
• Professionally staged listings “stand-out” in prospective buyers’ minds.
The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) studied sixty-nine homes in excess of $1 million that were
staged prior to going on the market and sold, on average in 38 days.
Thirteen homes were studied in excess of $1 million that were NOT staged. Those homes sat on the
market, on average, 97 days. Once staged, these homes sold, on average, in 68 days. That’s 165 total
days on the market. If these home were staged first, they would have spent 77% less time on the market.
Staging helps you to secure a contract more quickly.
One hundred and thirty-nine homes were studied that were priced between $500,000 to $999,999 - these
homes WERE staged before they hit the market and on average, sold in 21 days.
Twenty-four homes were studied that were also priced between $500,000 to $999,999 that were previously
on the market before the homeowner decided to stage. Those homes sat on the market, on average, for
140 days. After staging, they sold, on average, in 48 days. That represents a difference of almost 89%
less time on the market.
