I am a GIS / spatial database specialist and ornithologist and currently lead the ecology data management team for RPS in Scotland. My expertise lies in the processing, management and analysis of spatial data. My main tools are PostgreSQL/PostGIS relational database and SQL, QGIS and ArcGIS desktop GIS, R statistical software, and the Python programming language. I am also familiar with MapInfo, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and PHP. I am also a wildlife tour guide and expedition leader for the expedition cruise industry specialising in the Polar regions and the UK.
