1. Chris Balish is an award-winning

years experience creating and

cable, and digital. After shooting a
pilot presentation in 2009, Chris’s
weekly entertainment news
program On the Red Carpet and
its companion digital news site
OntheRedCarpet.com was
funded and launched by ABC
News/The Walt Disney Company.
Chris left his full-time staff
position at the Walt Disney
Company in 2012 to create and
develop his own television and
digital projects. Prior to Disney,
Chris launched broadcast and
digital news programming for
AMC cable network, The CW
Network, and the Dish Network.
Chris also spent a decade in TV
news working for NBC's Today
Show, MSNBC, CNN, Extra, TV
Guide Network, Gannett Co., and
local news. Chris has been a
featured speaker at Realscreen,
the Reality Rocks Expo, the
Directors Guild of America, the
Paley Center for Media, the Los
Angeles Film Festival, and he
hosted Realscreen's Factual
Entertainment Awards. Chris is
also a bestselling author of two
books and has won more than
thirty awards for excellence in
broadcasting, and television
news, including seven regional
Emmy Awards & 30 nominations.
