Candidate to represent Illinois in the United States Senate
Formal Nomination of Candidate
Effective November 28, 2015, the Veterans Party of America, as well as the Illinois Veterans Party of
America, formally nominate Chris Aguayo as the Veterans Party of America, and Illinois Veterans Party
of America’s candidate to represent Illinois in the United States Senate.
Chris Aguayo is an Army Veteran of Operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq, while serving in the
various Cavalry units and as a Bradley gunner. Chris’ demonstrated leadership is apparent in having
earned his position on the Commandant’s List at the United States Army’s Warrior Leader Course. Chris
Aguayo’s extensive leadership and dedication to our nation is the type of leadership and tenacity needed
in Washington D.C. Chris Aguayo is the best candidate to represent the people of Illinois in the United
States Senate. We believe Chris Aguayo will provide that leadership. Chris Aguayo embodies the values
of the Veterans Party of America and we are pleased to announce this formal nomination.
Chris Aguayo has agreed to be held accountable for his actions, his votes, and his oath to uphold the
Constitution of the United States by the people and the party he represents. This alone speaks volumes to
his dedication to make America better.
The Veterans Party of America, Illinois Veterans Party of America, hereby declares Chris Aguayo as
our officially nominated candidate for the United States Senate in Illinois. With this comes full
permission to utilize the names “Veterans Party of America” and “Illinois Veterans Party of America,”
as well as any associated logos and mascots, with his campaign for the United States Senate, including
the use for filings, ballot access, and other related uses.
