Multi-platinum country music
recording artist Sammy Kershaw
is known for his country music with
a Cajun kick. Since his debut in 1991

ous history than the Neville Brothers. They’ve sold
millions of records worldwide and

six different countries. The four
Nevilles—Aaron (vocals), Art
(keyboard, organ, vocals), Charles
(saxophone, native flute, vocals) and
Cyril (percussion, vocals)— thrive on
an explosive mix of rhythm and
blues, jazz, reggae and rock. Notable
hits include “Tell It Like It Is,” “Fire on

In the afternoon Saturday at Breitbeck Park and wrapping
around the Entergy Nuclear Northeast Fireworks Spectacular,
are tribute bands Blue Wild Gypsy, featuring the music
of Jimmy Hendrix and Get the Led Out, a Led Zepplin
styled band.

Children’s Parade
Friday, July 23, 10 a.m.
Children of all ages can join the fun with the traditional
Children’s Parade from West Park/Franklin Park to Breitbeck
Park. This year the colorful costumes and music celebrate the
music and dance of Mexico, the 2004 Harborfest Cultural
Component. A Radio Disney concert on the Lakeview Stage
immediately follows the parade.

Breitbeck Park Children’s Area
Harborfest children’s activities and programming for kids of
all ages will run continuously at Breitbeck Park—on the
Children’s Stage in the workshop activities area and on the
Lakeview Stage—during the day on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday. Activities celebrate the people, history and culture of
our southern neighbor—Mexico.

Port Authority Terminal
Rock music rules at the relocated and up-to-date Port City
Stage. Framed by the Oswego River and the harbor, the Port
City Stage features non-stop rockin’ good times with some of
upstate New York’s best regional rock bands. Don’t miss
regional rock favorites Grind, Klear and Under the Gun.
Battle of the Bands, Friday, July 23, Noon – 4 p.m.
Come and enjoy the second annual Harborfest Battle of the
Bands, a competition featuring teenage bands from through-
out Oswego on the newly relocated Port Stage.

Fort Ontario Historic Site
The “Salute to Seniors” concert
kicks off the festivities on Friday
(noon) with “The Sinatra Show”
featuring the Joey Thomas Big
Band. During the festival enjoy

1860’s period music of the
Excelsior Cornet Band.

Veteran’s Stage—River Walk West
Central New York native Penny Jo Pulis is the
featured country and western recording artist on the newly
built River Stage where a variety of music styles are featured.

Red, the Arrogant Worms, and many others round out the
weekend.

Lakeview Stage In the afternoon Saturday at Breitbeck Park and wrapping around the Entergy Nuclear Northeast Fireworks Spectacular, are tribute bands Blue Wild Gypsy, featuring the music of Jimmy Hendrix and Get the Led Out, a Led Zepplin styled band. F E A T U R E E V E N T S Entergy Nuclear Northeast Fireworks Spectacular Saturday, July 24, 9:30 p.m. The Entergy Nuclear Northeast Fireworks Spectacular is one of only seven such world-class fire- works demonstrations in the Northeast. Each year more than 100,000 people line the shores of CUS Lake Ontario and hundreds of JOE MAR boats take to the water to view the almost half-hour long music-choreo- graphed presentation that uses ground and aerial bursts to paint the night with a rainbow of color and light. Children’s Parade Friday, July 23, 10 a.m. Children of all ages can join the fun with the traditional Children’s Parade from West Park/Franklin Park to Breitbeck Park. This year the colorful costumes and music celebrate the music and dance of Mexico, the 2004 Harborfest Cultural Component. A Radio Disney concert on the Lakeview Stage immediately follows the parade. CUS Sithe Jazz Stage JOE MAR East Park/Washington Park The Bobby Watson Quintet, Carlos Del Junco and The Stan Gosek Freefall Orchestra are numbered among the performers on the Sithe Jazz Stage. From the opening act on Friday to the conclusion of program- ming late Saturday night there are plenty more artists featured to keep jazz, blues and R&B lovers happy.
