Idea A: Essential information and Production Needs Linking in with visuals Words: ‘ Night’-Dark ‘ Sleeping and wake’-link in to a bed and someone sleeping perhaps ‘ I am he’- the body posture, camera angles which work together to create a powerful shot, looking up at the person in the frame. ‘ Cries’- Facial close up. Expression in the persons face ‘ Rest In piece’- Possibly have a fake graveyard( green screened) as the background, when the lights Animation Ideas: 24 shots a second Possibly replicate something in the animation linking to Type- O- Negative’s ‘Black Number 1’, with the lighting use, adding effects and the lead singer (someone replicating the demon/monster ) via green screen.

3. When the beat of the drums change tempo the lights in the background surrounding the singer could change to the pace. Then as the beat returns to a softer beat then the lights return back to being still. Revealing something to link in with the ‘demon’ whilst the lights are flickering, creating a similar atmosphere to the Type- O- negative music video. ‘ Nothing is ever what it seems’- The image of something good that then perhaps turns bad. Something Someone Creature Object Dark, misty scene/location. Main singer narrating the story- looking at it from his eyes. Extra person perhaps? Good to bad links Similar to old horror films, like the location, dark scene.

4. Idea 1 Possibly show demon as a women – could dream dark Shown in a red light perhaps to reflect evil and shadows Reason for black heart is women broke it? Story – women has broken his heart by going onto another man – wants revenge – song is about the pain and story ‘ Dreams’ could be what she shattered by leaving him and going with another man. Scene – his ex and another man in the bed they once shared – asleep He is shown looking at her every day life and how it has changed now she’s not with him He’s in the shadows cause of the lighting – standing in the green screen but looking down in the direction of where her bed is ‘ Feel no pain – you have what I seek’ almost aiming it at the new man in her life Set of a green screen for the singer Location of a bedroom – dark and shadowy – blowing windows to create and atmosphere

Idea 2 Sub – conscious mind – dreaming Black room – blurred scary image of people running around him – dark shadows He could go into people’s dreams – see things from their perspective – scary Maybe add a girl He could ne dressed gothic – scary looking representing him as the ‘evil’ in the song – taking peoples dreams As he enters them – Causing havoc making the dreams scarier – more darker – uncomfortable for the dreamer various shots of Close – ups looking through the peoples eyes – from their perspective medium close-ups

Idea 3 ‘ Pixie’ stealing dreams Girl taking on the role of evil within the song Relationships Going round bedrooms taking dreams and happiness Relates to the demon idea but in the form of a women Takes guys dreams and happiness (man-eater) idea – almost killing them to keep herself alive with their dreams and getting what she wants – demon side
