As part of this Blueprint, two locations within Iskandar Malaysia have been identified to become MSC Malaysia locations, namely Menara MSC Cyberport within the Johor Bahru city centre and Bandar MSC Cyberport, a 150 acre location where the Second link and the North South Highway to Kuala Lumpur meet.
  4. Menara MSC Cyberport was Conferred MSC Malaysia Cybercentre status by the Prime Minister of Malaysia on the 28th of June 2006. It is a30-storey building which is strategically located just right next to the new CIQ complex & n ext to the causeway to Singapore. It is home to a host of facilities including technology Labs and incubation centers.

This Cybercity will be a comprehensive 24 hour global city that will compromise of residential, offices and recreational facilities with State of the art ICT infrastructure at much lower costs than neighbouring locations. This Cybercity is also strategically located 20 minutes away from the Second Link to Singapore which makes it a suitable for location for back-office outsourcing operations.
