Mrs. Reutherâs 3rd grade class at King Street Primary
Raised $3,000 for Mackenzie Newsomeâs upcoming cancer
surgery. Money was raised through a business plan created
based on JA concepts learned.

IS JA EMPOWERING KIDS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES? IS THERE VALUE TO JA AT THE ES SCHOOL LEVEL? WOW !!!!!! THROUGH THE DEDICATION OF A VOLUNTEER, AND JA CURRICULUM ,THIS 3 RD GRADE CLASS CREATED A BUSINESS PLAN, TOOK ACTION AND RAISED $3000 TOWARDS MACKENZIES SURGERY!!!!!! THATâS A STORY!!!!

Based on Retreat Outcomes : Internal Marketing - retreat results ranged from âget the storyâ ; create collateral; create plan Based on leadership of Gaurav and Karen â thanks for a tremendous amount of work on critical point resulting in their proposal to take a step back before creating the actions Indentify Clear and few objectives (BOD alignment with strategic planning) Positioning- where do we want to focus the next 10 years â underserved (MS/HS) Critical next steps Analysis âwhat we have and know, what we need to know Resources - committee vs staff to drive initiatives and process Staff Board committee Other Development plan â synergy with marketing Donor Strategy - Identification of donors and building relationships Resources Improve communication between all boards Strategic Board Meetings Vs.
