Blaire Baron Larsen
Cast
Cesar Azanza (Captive: Gabriel) – Cesar Azanza is proud to be making his
theatrical debut in this great production and to get to be a part of the Fringe
Festival. Born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Cesar has been doing
theatre since high school, where he got to play Tony in West Side Story. He
recently graduated from the USC School of Dramatic Arts where he
obtained his Bachelors degree in Theatre and a minor in Cinematic Arts.
While at USC he starred in shows like Infinite Black Suitcase and Broken
Eggs. He is alternately playing Lysander in a production of A Midsummer
Night’s Dream at the Church of the Foothills. Cesar is very grateful for this
opportunity and for his family and friends who have been a fundamental
support in his short career.
Blaire Baron Larsen (The Below:
Bunny) – A Fourth Gen-Los Angeleno,
Blaire Baron Larsen has worked as an
actress in films, television and Off
Broadway since age 18. She presently
operates the renown Los Angeles
Drama Club. Blaire’s play The Basket
Weaver (about a woman obsessed with
False Flag operations) recently
participated in the Samuel French OOB
Playwrights Festival in NYC. Her
play, The Milk Meetings – featuring a
politically incorrect group of
breastfeeding mothers – just enjoyed
packed houses and a 6 week run on
Theatre Row at Studio C. Her short
play, The Below, a Williams-esque one-
act about a delusional eccentric and his
Brooklynese sister will debut at LA’s
Fringe Festival in June. She conceived and produced Women In Boxes, an award-winning documentary about
magic assistants. Blaire has won numerous screenwriting awards (Atlanta, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Beverly

Christina Calph
Hills, Nicholl (semifinals). She wrote a the satirical series Ravenhurst for Air America. In 2014, PBS honored Blaire as
their Community Champion for her non-profit arts oorganization. She is prominently featured in an ongoing PBS
Special, LA ART.
Emily Button (Corollaries: Claire) – Emily is the daughter of two professional
athletes, which does not at all explain why she became an actress. An award
winning actress, improviser, voiceover artist and producer. Emily has
performed in over fifty plays and films, recurred on NBC’s Days of Our
Lives and had the privilege of working with many gifted artists including the
great Paul Sills, Mike Nichols and George Morrison. Recently nominated for
“Best Supporting Actress” for her work in Peter’s Ashes with Dee Wallace
Stone, you can also see her in the soon to be released Other People’s

Christina Calph (Hostage
Situation: Mona) –
Christina Jacquelyn Calph can be seen on screen in Arthur (Warner Brothers) alongside Russell Brand and
Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and in Tower Heist (Universal) starring Ben Stiller & Eddie Murphy. Her New
York theater credits include The Sunshine Boys with Lewis J. Stadlen & Chip Zien (Engeman) and Streetcar Named
Desire in the role of Stella Kowalski directed by Austin Pendleton. TV credits include Tiny Apartment (Comedy
Central), He Said, She Said (MTV), Deception (NBC), Made in Jersey (CBS),Rescue Me (FX), Whitest Kids U
Know (IFC), & The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central). Christina has worked off-screen as a commercial
director, writer and producer for brands like Symantec and The Good Guys. She is also the director, writer &
producer of the comedic web-series, Bad Girl’s Ball.
Rico Dakhil (Homeland Insecurity: Abdul) – Rico Dakhil was born in NYC however he grew up entirely in Los
Angeles. At a young age his parents got him interested in speaking on public platforms either sharing his personal
stories, poems or being a MC for events within his community. RICO has trained at Studio C Artists and Lesly Kahn

David Dickerson (Clean Routine: Lester) –
Born and raised right outside of Boston,
David is a USC Theatre graduate who has
also studied under programs at The
London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts
and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. He is
currently studying under Joshua LeBar.
Past credits include Beautiful Little Fool
(USC), The Meat Shall Inherit (Four Letter
Theatre Co.), and last year’s Fringe show
Twylight Zone: Back to the 6th Dimension
(Four Letter Theatre Co.). You can also see

Will Gressman (Reel Wood: Redmond) – Will Gressman is so excited to be
working with people he loves and admires. He graduated from Columiba
University’s Acting MFA program and has a B.A. from the University of
Michigan. Notable theater performances are: As You Like IT (Classic Stage
Company), Battledrum (Sierra Madre Playhouse), Crimes of the Heart (Asolo
Rep), and Macondo (The Guthrie). He’d like to thank the people at Studio C,

graduating, he moved to Los Angeles. After having years of success as an
editor, Taylor is focusing on his acting career with his first starring role in Vice
Force Action Squad. Although if you need an editor you can talk to him…and
if you know of any agents looking for new talent he’s in the market for that,
too.
Mindy Montavon (Surprise: Brienna) –
Mindy Montavon is happy to be

Kate Robertson (Corollaries: Aimee) – Kate Robertson knew she wanted to pursue more roles in film after working
with William H. Macy on the set of Rudderless. Kate spent years in regional theater, playing roles such as Kate in
the Taming of the Shrew and Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest. Before moving to Los Angeles Kate
worked as a fire dancer and static trapeze artist at festivals and events, and still loves to set herself on fire every
now and then.
Mike Shaffrey (Homeland Insecurity: Krebbs) – Born and raised in Laurel, Maryland. Graduated with a degree in
Geography from University of Maryland (pre-med). Worked as a teacher/coach for a few years after college and
then for 15 years in the area of Interactive Marketing before beginning an acting career in 2011. Big guy who is
fiercely protective with a warm heart of gold — coming to a theater near you some day soon. Know for his
performances in “The Runaway,” “Jewvangelist,” and “Warriors of Oz.”

produced last year and is in currently in development for film. In the
meantime, he can be seen doing musical improv (and sometimes the
regular kind) on the main stage of the famous iO West theatre.
