This position consists of digitizing rare, special collectors and historical maps and artifacts for public online distribution. Images are captured at the Digital Imaging Center, using Capture-1 software, high-potency cameras and scanners. Image post-processing, editing, and metadata entry are performed using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop software along other software applications. Along with technical experience, attention to detail and proper handling of fragile materials are essential components of this job.
