CI 350 Unit Plan Abstract.

1. Unit Plan Abstract.
This Unit Plan concerns one of the most tumultuous time periods in American
History, the Gilded Age. I will be teaching this Unit Plan to a group of diverse 11th
graders between the ages of 16-17. I plan on teaching this by using various forms
of technology including but not limited to, YouTube, Wikispaces, and PowerPoint.
I hope that the students gain perspective on one of the most overlooked, yet
controversial periods in American History, and to see how far we have evolved not
only socially, but politically as well.
