2. About Tom
● Tom Hoops is a portrait photographer best
known for his work for German Vogue. He
usually photographs models in poses and then
edits them to a musky black and white colour
but he has also been known to take pictures of
urban landscapes such as the New York
Skyline.

when he does use colour
in his photographs the
colours he uses are still
quite dark and dull.

has made the image black
and white which makes it
feel a bit vintage also the
model in the picture has a
1940's style hair cut and
with her clothes and bag it
looks like shes going to be
doing some work during
world war II.

features stand out more, this
makes the picture seem old
and dated.
