Supplier Management Leader in Project of
CMCC’s Supply Chain
Introduction: This project focused on strategic plan and design for supply chain management, aiming at
building unified supplier management and material system and optimizing the procurement,
logistics and distribution center management.
Responsibilities: Analyzed as-is of Supplier management. Co-worked with one expert and interviewed
supplier management owners in 6 provinces. Studied supplier management benchmark.
Compared 3 big state own groups’ supplier management systems and practices.
Designed Supplier Management solution. Define vendor management solution,
covering vendor access, vendor administration, vendor evaluation system, etc. For
instance, established multi-level supplier assessment system with 14 evaluation
templates based on the characteristics of product or service and SEVRQUAL model.
Implemented Supplier Management solution. Worked as the Vendor Management
Group Leader and Integrator, cooperated with 3 other IT service providers and 6 plus
developers with different background, completed the go live of vendor access, feedback,
notice, blacklist, vendor database functionality, etc.

Planning & Production Team Leader
in Project of Magnesita’s Post Merger
Introduction: This project helped a world leading refractory provider to fulfill the post merger integration in
Asia market, covering 4 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and Logistics) in 2 plants
with 120 thousand tons yield per year.
Responsibilities: Analyzed supply chain as-is. Interviewed and co-worked with 10 key users from HQ
and local plants to assess the supply chain performance, involving material
requirements planning, production scheduling and manufacturing execution
management, finish product inventory management. The study found a series of issues
need to be fixed, for example, inaccurate demand forecasting, frequently changed
demand, inflexible production, low inventory turnover, high loss rate, etc.
Designed supply chain improvement solution. Leading two junior consultants, as
per process standardization requirements in HQ and the characteristics of Chinese
factories, proposed MTO model different from the HQ’s, and further streamlined the
SOP processes to strengthen collaboration between sales, planning and production,
and build more than 10 templates for management report and daily data collection.
Coordinated the implementation of MIS. Lead key users to clean more than 20
thousands data element, held over 25 training session in the different project phase,
supported key users to do system testing for 8 business scenarios and gave hyper-care
support in the 1
st
month after go live.

Investment Project Platform
Introduction: This project aimed to build the investment project integration platform to fulfill the
standardization of project management and improve overall management capacity of
investment project.
Responsibilities: Designed core business process. Led 2 client internal consultants and 1 third part
consultant to design and drew 107 key business processes with Visio based on the
project life cycle management.
Analyzed standardization as-is. Interviewed over 20 business owners and studied
the current system applications relevant with investment project to fully understand
standardization situation of business process, project category, coding and WBS.
Setup the project category, coding and naming criterion. Categorized 19 project
groups and drafted project coding and naming conversion based on the project
category, region, etc.

Introduction: This project focused on improving internal supply chain efficiency for a world leading
Pharmaceutical company, covering planning to production, purchase to pay, warehouse
and quality management in 3 plants of China.
Responsibilities: Analyzed supply chain as is. Co-worked with one supply chain expert and
interviewed 8 business owners to access the business process of forecasting, planning
& production, inventory management and the processes involved with global
distribution centers.

Introduction: This project helped to realize the BPR and implementation of management information
system in Asia and Latin America market, covering 7 plants.
Responsibilities: Analyzed business as-is. Co-worked with one senior consultant and 9 business
process owners of Asia and Latin America to study capability of the supply chain,
including material requirement planning, long term planning, production scheduling and
manufacture execution, etc.
Defined business process. Defined and drew business process by Visio for
manufacturing and quality management, and specified key points for business control.
Coordinated user training. Coordinated end user training for Asia and Latin America
region involving 47 courses and 396 end users, including training materials content
preparation, training schedules, etc.

Introduction:
This project helped to improve supply chain efficiency by enhanced the vendor
management, refined inventory management mode and cooperation relationship between
the up & down stream organization.
Responsibilities: Vendor classification management. Assisted senior management consultant to
define the vendor management standard classification system, and categorized about
3000 vendors into 4 types, strategic vendor, long-term vendor, qualification pending
vendor and eliminated vendor and developed management strategy for each type.
Inventory management mode. Assisted senior management consultant carried out
the analysis for inventory management issues, such as, overstock, shortage of
inventory and sales, etc. Established JMI and VMI modes for different kinds of
materials. And build information share platform for critical vendors and key distributors
to enhance the response of the whole supply chain.
Supported PMO. Support PM to finish the project management documentation,
monitor the system testing and end user training progress and make the daily report,
and prepare the change management materials, such as newspaper, user manual and
quick card, etc.
Designed supply chain network. Defined 15 supply chain business scenarios based
on the property and system application of up & down stream organizations, and drew
logistics, information and finance flow network for each scenario.
Coordinated the implementation of MIS. Hosted more than 20 training sessions for
end users of different levels in the whole project, covering master data, MRP,
production planning and execution, etc.
