III. RATIONALE
The National Achievement Test result of the learners last 2018 is quite alarming. (Provide data)
(Provide citation/research result or memorandum about assessment and IMs production) In this connection, the Department
of Education Division of Zamboanga del Sur conducted a 3-Day Live-in Training of Trainers on Assessment and IMs/SIM
Preparation on Least-Learned Skills in English, Filipino, Math and Science.
The training aims to aid us in making our teaching career progressive and at the same time improving our learners National
Achievement Test result. Thus, the Science training representative per District is tasked to cascade all the necessary
information learned during the training to his/her co-educators through LAC session.
IV.OBJECTIVES
1. Discuss the Principle of Assessment.
2. Update the Guidelines for Constructing Multiple Choice Test
3. Construct Table of Specification and Test Item aligned to competencies in Quarters 1 and 2.
4. 4. Make a SIM appropriate to the learning ability of the learners.
