Prevention Program Pictures
1.
2. I chose this photo, to show that my prevention program will provide informational classes
for the juvenile, and their parents on techniques, and tips on how to overcome whatever
their child may be going through.
3. I chose this picture to show that the program will have many inspirational guest
speakers, to help show the juveniles, that they are not alone, and that they can
overcome their struggles. It will be a more fun, interesting way to get through to
the juveniles.
4. I chose this picture, because it represents all the different services
offered at the prevention program and shows positive “paths” you can
take and how the prevention program will teach you how to fill your
life with positive vibes and throughts, rather than negative ones.
5. This picture represents the fact that my prevention program will
provide community service activities, to allow the juveniles to give
back to the community, and give them something to feel proud of
themselves for and accomplished.
6. I chose this picture to show that after completing the prevention
program, the juveniles involved will be invited to go on a trip as a
reward, they will build special bonds with their peers in the program
with them, and learn that they do not need drugs and alcohol to
have fun, and they can surround themselves with others who are
not involved in drugs and alcohol, or gangs.
7. EFFECTIVE
AFFORDABLE
REWARDING
This picture shows all the key components to
the program. It is rated effective, it is
affordable, many scholarships are also
available, and the program is rewarding to
the juveniles who participate. They will come
out of the program with knowledge
regarding drugs/alcohol/gangs, ways to say
no, and avoid being involved in negative
behavior, and will be provided with services
for counseling, advice, help, ect. during and
even after participating in the program
8. This picture shows that our prevention program, is a fun positive place
for juveniles to be. It is not “juvenile detention center” like, but provides
a positive environment for those attending. We have air hockey tables,
pool tables, basketball courts, art supplies, books, and more!
9. This picture shows the one on one mentoring that is available at
my prevention program. Each juvenile is paired up with a former
troubled juvenile with the same struggle, who overcame all the
obstacles they were faced with. This allows each juvenile to
create a personal relationship with a positive influence who truly
understands what the juvenile is going through.
10. This picture shows that this program will give juveniles an
opportunity and chance to turn their lives around for the
better, and provides a program and many services that
are not like any others out there.
