The Early Years
The 19somethings
During the 1960-90 they focused
on more realistic horror movies
like Jaws and King Kong but
continued to release a couple of
family movies.
Currently
The make time for horror
movies, action movies and
kids' movies. Some of their
most popular franchises
include despicable me,
Jurassic Park and Fast and
Furious.
When they first opened up, they actually owned the
rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (until 2006).
Once Walt Disney left their focus shifted to
monster movies, Mystery movies and cartoons like
woody wood pecker.

relatable. They may not be ahead of everyone
else or focused on making experience, but they
have movies the whole family can enjoy! No
matter your pick, universal has something for

Universal is also famous for working well
with other studios. They share the
rights to the Hulk with Disney.
Additionally, they have worked with the
broccoli family to ensure the release of
the James Bond movies.
The Park
Much like their rival
company Disney;
Universal pictures has a
theme park in Orlando
Florida. Showcasing
some of their biggest
movie attractions.
