Associate Professor Carl Reidsema is a mechanical design engineer with over 12 years industry experience in sectors such as Transport, Heavy Industry, Defence, Mining, Information Technology, Air Conditioning, Composites and Acoustics with roles as Project Engineer, Projects Manager, Design Engineer and Engineering Design Manager prior to commencing his PhD. Associate Professor Reidsema has lectured in engineering design over all four years of the curriculum for the past 7 years and led the Faculty development of the University of New South Wale’s first year common course in engineering design “ENGG1000 - Engineering Design and Innovation”.
