  1. When we started Projectplace 1998 ”the project” was an exception. Today many companies and business ideas are bases 100% on the project as the production mechanism for delivering customer value.There was a lot of experts that quistioned our point of view, but today we can se that the market has changed and is turning towards the way we see it,The main thing we saw in 1998 that differentiated us was that a project is not a simple technical production process , a PROJECT IS A SOCIAL SYSTEM! (a temporay social system)--------------------------------
  2. ....A project is a temporary social system.It consists of people coming together to work towards a common goal. We believe that people at their core are driven by a strong need to contribute and feel that they are part of a bigger whole. We also believe that an enjoyable working situation is important for project success. This is NOT a cultural thing, THIS IS COMMON HUMAN BEHAVIOUR A FUNDEMENTAL PART OF OUR SPECIES. And the companies that embraces this view is the ones that gone deliver best value most effectively. And the “project management community” is finally embracing this view. (Citat). And MS Project 2010 is delivered with the CPM scheduling turned off as default!Our view on the three most important factors for succeding with a project is:-------------------------------

  4. When we funded the company 1998 we redefined Project Management. We said that Project Management is all about efficient sharing of information and efficient communication among all stakeholders.We said the successful Project Management IS efficient Project Collaboration. 10 years ago this was VERY controversial and our market was very very small. (only early adopters in Sweden and Norway). This is not the case today. The potential market today is IMMENSE! But so is also the competition. What I will present to you know is a clarification of our Load Star – Project Collaboration THE PROJECTPLACE WAY! OUR WAY!So listen very carefully  -------------------
  5. 1. You have to understand how people work efficiently together. That its about gaining mutual trust to coordinated commitments.When Projectplace was founded in 1998 we had that understanding.2. Another critical factor is to continuously be able to learn and adapt to change. Things never goes the way you have planned and very often the the customer of the project will change their requirements during the project. best practices in Lean Manufacturing and Lean and Agile software development have a lot to teach in this.3. You can use technology to support 1. and 2. But your need COURAGE to do it!Technology IS the Method– the way you can organize work is deeply dependent on available communication technology-------- The mobile phone and email has enabled a new kind of production process where the “project” is the common mechanism for creating value.Chatter
