Scott pilgrim vs the world: the game is a side scrolling beat em up based off the manga
and success of the movie adaptions with the same name minus the game part.
It is aimed at teens to young adults however its presentation makes it appealing to
younger audiences as well with its bright colors and cartoony aesthetic. The game relies
on throwing together mundane environments with bizarre events for instance the first
mission revolves around you simply traveling to a concert through a quiet town but to get
there you have to battle the likes of street tuffs, hipsters edgy teens and the occasional
tall guy who just doesn’t like you. Its marketing relied heavily on you having bought the
film/books first in which it was advertised therefore the key audience would be fans
anyway.

Castle crashers is a cult classic side scroller where you can play alone or in teams of up to
four, the premise is simple rescue the princesses from the evil wizard and get back the
royal gem, what is appealing to audiences is how this is portrayed making it best suited
for immature audiences of 7 -18 thanks to puns gags and incredibly bizarre situations, like
surfboarding down a river while battling a bear riding a cat fish hybrid. The game is as
simply designed as possible yet not simple at all, for instance ninja-pirates, evil bee
keepers, and very very furry trolls. The way audiences attentions would be drawn to this
product would be the reputation of the producer which was very popular at its time of
release but also the fact that it was a game suitable for kids that almost all ages wanted
to play meaning it made it easier to advertise to everyone

The original street fighter was very simplistic with not much storyline included and
focusing on the more combat heavy stages. The game was released in 1989 and was very
popular with audiences. The character designs were meant to have weird buff characters
fighting against each other. The scenes were meant to be connected to the different
characters story and characters such as they're home land
