Roles & Responsibilities:
Working as a Asst. Manager – EXIM (Sep 2011 to till date)
Co ordinate with sales team to get the monthly export shipment plan for export.
Working for RFQ to finalize the freight with liner and Freight forwarders
Checking with production & Planning department for material readiness dates
Co-ordination with Liner& Freight Forwarder to get the vessel schedules for every month, & Providing vessel
schedules to sales & planning department for container stuffing.
Arranging booking from FF/Shipping line as per INCO terms
Providing the DG cargo declaration to CHA/FF for customs clearance process
Co ordinate with CHA for Container survey and trailors arrangement to plan the containers for stuffing at plant
Co ordinate with commercial department to get the Invoice & packing, ARE-1 and forwarded to CHA for
shipping bill filling
Ensure and adhere filing the shipping bill in Advance & EPCG Licence & Lasing with CHA’s day to day activates
related to Export Clearance,
2. Providing the SLI to FF for BL releasing, after vessel sailing arrange post shipment documents from FF &
CHA’s (BL, Shipping bill, Certificate of origin , GSP,)
Supporting finance team for LC requirement
Arranging Export original shipping documents to buyer.
Collecting the proof of export from Cha to full fill the export obligation.
Updating the vessel schedule tracker to buyer to know the status of shipment and monitor the transshipment
connection and delivery status.
Arranging the IIP (Indian Institute of packaging) certificate for DG goods Air shipment.
Monitoring and ensuring the Vendor payment as per the Credit terms
Handled Air EPXORT shipments for end to end process in DDP basis
Handled Re Import shipments to from pick up to deliver to plant
Arranging Re-Import relevant documents for customs clearance to clear the consignment without duty in
customs.
Co ordinate with purchase team for imports planning
Finalize the shipping liner as per INCO terms
Follow up for CHA to customs formalities completion to deliver the material to plant

Roles & Responsibilities:
Working as a Plant cum customs co ordinator:
Forward the Import Invoice, Packing list & B/L copy to CHA for filling the Bill of Entry, getting the CAN(Cargo
arrival notice) copy for import containers from liner & advice to CHA
Coordinating with CHA for imports shipment, file the BE to customs & arrange the inspection in customs for
Air/Sea shipments
For old items & used items from overseas will arrange the CE (Charted Engineers) for inspect the goods, based
on CE value asses the duty amount. Ones process completed pay the duty and clear the consignment (Air &
Sea).
In Export activities prepare the Invoice, packing list (by Air and Sea) and forward to liner for booking &
forward the CHA to file the shipping bill in customs.
Coordinate with clearing agents for inspection the cargo and received the plot order from liners.
Ones inspection completed load the cargo in container & offload the container in sea port.
3. Getting the schedules from Liner (more than two) and confirm the schedules.
Getting the connection confirmation in transshipment point & delivery confirmation from liner.
Update pre shipment & post shipment report to buyer.
Interstate transfer goods:
Sending the imported spares & equipment to other states Cochin, Mangalore, Orissia, Punjab &Gujarat etc.
Preparing the JJ documents to border crossing in Tamilnadu .
Generating the way bill in online for other states like Gujarat form 403, orissa way bill 79,UP form 38, WB
form 50A,
Arranging the transport for shifting the imported spares to various destination
Stock Maintains:
Transfer the stock to all sites with in India (imported spares)
Maintain the stock report for imported spares & update the day today transaction & consumption details.
Submit the monthly stock report to our department.

Sending the Pre-alert, Original Documents to destination clearing Agent for smooth cargo delivery.
Sending Transshipment confirmation & Delivery confirmation to customer.

Raising the Service invoices to Customer as per agreed Rate Contract with customer.
Collecting the payment from customer as per agreed credit limit to complete the cycle.
