 and discuss results. They will guide the discussion to share teacher needs and desires on format style.6. Have three major quot;
classesquot;
 running through the day for three groups of teachers to attend (Basics of Technology, Technology as Connection, and Technology as Project).  One class will go over basic uses of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Another class will go over using Wordle, PollEverywhere, YouTube, and United Streaming to engage students in content. The final class will address creating technology projects using Prezi, iMovie, Audacity, and others.Principal, Campus Technologist, Assistant Principals, Selected TeachersAugust 22, 2011Planning team will be evaluating each session for consistency in message, engagement of audience, and presentation of material. They will also monitor audience participation and note questions asked. This allows them to find common themes of questions for later discussion.7. At the conclusion of each presentation, teachers will be asked to brainstorm specific ways they can use the information presented in their own classrooms.Selected TeachersAugust 22, 2011Presenting teachers and/or members of planning team will explain the way brainstorms will be used during the school year. These brainstorms are evaluated in a later step.8. Have three major quot; classesquot; running through the day for three groups of teachers to attend (Basics of Technology, Technology as Connection, and Technology as Project). One class will go over basic uses of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Another class will go over using Wordle, PollEverywhere, YouTube, and United Streaming to engage students in content. The final class will address creating technology projects using Prezi, iMovie, Audacity, and others.Principal, Campus Technologist, Assistant Principals, Selected TeachersAugust 22, 2011Planning team will be evaluating each session for consistency in message, engagement of audience, and presentation of material. They will also monitor audience participation and note questions asked. This allows them to find common themes of questions for later discussion.7. At the conclusion of each presentation, teachers will be asked to brainstorm specific ways they can use the information presented in their own classrooms.Selected TeachersAugust 22, 2011Presenting teachers and/or members of planning team will explain the way brainstorms will be used during the school year. These brainstorms are evaluated in a later step.8.
