Global Climate Change is the result of a succession of climatic distortions that have resulted from the man made alteration to a high pressure zone that had appeared in North Eastern Africa for the passed few million years. By introducing large scale river management dams on the Nile in Egypt to control the annual midsummer flood, this set off a sequence of events further south in the Ethopian Highlands that resulted in a reduction in the number and density of Easterly Waves, which has increased the amount of solar rediation absorbed by the Equitorial Atlantic and Pacific, thus warming the planet and distorting a number of major weather systems.
