What did we find out?
Children, young people and staff really value music:

(Young Man, 16 years)
‘Whatever happens –they can’t take it away from you.’
(Young Woman c.15 years)
‘Music can increase confidence as this gives a sense of
achievement’ (Staff)
‘Using the lyrics in songs to help young people talk about
their feelings and engage with staff.’(Staff)
‘The moments can be happy and important in building
relationships between staff and young people.’(Staff)
