3. The goal of DayZ is to survive during the conditions of the
zombie apocalypse that have befallen the in-game world.
The player begins equipped with only simple clothes and a
flashlight, and must begin exploring the large 225km2
landscape of Chernarus to investigate loot locations such as
houses, barns, and apartments to scavenge supplies. These
supplies include food and water, which are basic keys to
prolonging the player's life. Beyond the bare bones of
survival, players can find various forms of clothing, which
not only allow the player to customize their character, but
can bring the benefit of extra storage space for supplies.
Also scattered around the map are a variety of melee and
ranged weapons, allowing players to protect themselves
from zombies or other players if necessary
5. League of Legends (LoL) is a multiplayer online battle
arena video game developed and published by Riot
Games for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, inspired by
the mod Defense of the Ancients for the video
gameWarcraft III: The Frozen Throne. It is afree-to-play
game, supported by micro-transactions. The game was
first announced on October 7, 2008, and released on
October 27, 2009. League of Legends was generally well
received at release, and has grown in popularity in the years
since. According to a 2012 Forbes article, League of
Legends was the most played PC game in North
America and Europe in terms of the number of hours
played. As of January 2014, over 67 million people
play League of Legends per month, 27 million per day, and
over 7.5 million concurrently during peak hours.
7. Dota 2 is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena video game and
the stand-alone sequel to the Defense of the
Ancients (Dota)Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos andWarcraft III: The
Frozen Throne mod. Developed by Valve Corporation, Dota 2 was
released as a free-to-play title for Microsoft,
Windows, OSX and Linux in July 2013, concluding a Windows-only
public beta testing phase that began in 2011. The game is
available exclusively through Valve's content-delivery
platform, Steam.
Dota 2 is played in discrete matches involving two teams of five
players, each of which occupies a stronghold at a corner of the
map. Each stronghold contains a building called the "Ancient",
which the opposite team must destroy to win the match. Each
player controls a "Hero" character and focuses on leveling up,
collecting gold, acquiring items and fighting against the other
team to achieve victory
