This document discusses data warehousing and agro-informatics in Pakistan. It provides background information and identifies key areas and players in agriculture. It discusses pests, predators, and economic threshold levels. The need for information technology in agriculture is explained. A 12-step approach to developing an agro-informatics system is outlined, including determining user needs, hardware/software selection, data modeling, and constructing a metadata repository. Developing correlations between pest and predator populations is also addressed.
