These are some popular media sharing sites:
Photo sharing: Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa, Video sharing: Youtube,
Vimeo, iMemories, and Audio sharing: SoundCloud, MySpace etc.

Location Based Networks:
Foursquare, Gowalla, Loopt
Mostly, these applications accessed via smart phones rather than
social networking if users choose sharing their location with
their social connections.
7. Privacy concerns regarding Social Networking
The Issues of online privacy has been a serious problem for a
long time, it has even started to grow rapidly due to
technology. Criminals may use social networks to connect
with potential victims.

· Access to the user’s computer without the
consent.

Location based social networks are
part of what is called Location based
services (LBS).
They are made possible by linking
Global positioning system (GPS),
which track user’s location, to the
capabilities of the World Wide Web,
along with other vital features such
as instant messaging.

Become familiar with the privacy settings available on
any social network you use
Don’t share your birthday, age, or place of birth.
Don’t publicize vacation plans
Don’t post your address, phone number or email
address on a social network
Use caution when using third-party applications
Be wary of requests for money
Take additional precautions if you are the victim of
stalking, harassment or domestic violence.
