My professional experience of 18 years in the industry and management consulting
areas, combined with my Industrial Engineering and Management degree, allowed me
to develop skills in the areas of supply chain management, transports, production,
purchasing, quality, process management, design and Implementation of information
systems, project management and team leadership.
I participated and was responsible for a large number of consulting projects, with
special emphasis on diagnosis, optimization, development and implementation of
strategic and operational models in supply chain, logistics and information technology
in various sectors of activity (consumer goods, Industrial equipment, construction and
transport).
As Supply Chain manager I coordinated a team of about 30 people, covering the
areas of Integrated Planning, Customer Service, Inventory Management and
Warehouse, Purchasing and Distribution, having led a structuring project to transform
these functional areas and interfaces with commercial and industrial departments, in
the areas of organization and skills, infrastructures, processes and supporting information
systems. This project contributed to the improvement of company’s performance
indicators and a considerable cost reduction.

Under the MIELE project was developed prototype of Logistic Single Window
and MIELE Middleware concept in order to solve problems of interoperability,
and the WiderMos project aims to deepen the work and facilitate their use.
Under the scope of WiderMoS, a demonstrator will be developed, with the
objective of develop a reference implementation and the systematization of
government issues / aligning guidelines to regulate / catalyze subsequent
market initiatives of this kind of platforms business in a market environment.

The project's goal is to boost the creation of logistic support services to the
Motorways of the Sea and Short Sea Shipping, by developing a network of web
B2B platforms (Logistics Single Window ), to enable Logistic service clients
exporting and importing source, plan, book, manage and monitor integrated
and optimized solutions for multimodal transport, knowing the cost of
environmental impact. These platforms are based on interoperability
mechanisms that allow an exchange of information with application systems of
the different actors of the supply chain, including transport (road, sea, rail, air),
logistics providers, freight forwarders, shippers, terminal operators, etc.
