required, also the number of compressors in operation is
determined only by the cooling load. It’s different with NRP

22. 3” Isolating valves
By using true parallel unit connection
the entire chiller plant does not need
to be stopped to isolate a unit in case
of a break. Isolating valves allow
to pull a unit out of the array while the
whole system continues to operate

AERMEC New valve
In heating mode NRL units can operate down to 5F (-15C) providing hot water at 104F (+40C). However, at 26,6F (-3C) we can produce hot water at 131F(55C).
This is a diagram of the refrigerant circuit for the NRL Chillers. Note the redundancy with two circuits built into all NRL units. The arrows in the blue circuit are the water in and out.
In this diagram you will notice the two desuperheater coils (in the blue circles) that have been added to the cooling circuit. The refrigerant passes through the desuperheater at all times when the unit is in operation. The heat is extracted when the external pump starts and pumps the hot water to the external storage tank. Also notice the CPCE valve. This valve is a hot gas injection valve protecting the evaporator from freezing in case of a low pressure situation when the pressure on the high pressure side drops down too much.
This diagram shows the NRL with 100 percent heat recovery. In the blue circles you will see the heat recovery heat exchangers. These units are only in use when there is a call for heat recovery. The system is automated so that when there is a call for heat recovery VSR1 and VSR2 switch position allowing the refrigerant to flow in to the heat recovery heat exchangers. When the call is satisfied the valves switch position again and the refrigerant heads through the condensers.
Aermec manufacture many types of fan coils. Being the largest European manufacturer Aermec produce up to 1000 pieces of fan coils every day. To produce this amount Aermec use a Robotic line. A short movie, which I am about to show you illustrates the production process. Please take note that Aermec manufacture the worlds quietest fan coils.
On this slide we see the Aermec new high wall fancoils. It’s available in 3 sizes from 6500 BTU/h up to 13 000 BTU/h. It has an integrated 3-way valve inside of the unit. This year we are expecting a bigger size of this fan coil FCW 51 with higher performance. Again silent operation and attractive view.
