National Bobwhite Conservation Initiative, University of Tennessee

Headquartered at the University of Tennessee's Institute of Agriculture Department of Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries, NBCI is an initiative of the National Bobwhite Technical Committee (NBTC) to elevate bobwhite quail recovery from an individual state proposition to a range-wide, policy-level leadership endeavor. The committee is comprised of representatives of 25 state wildlife agencies, research institutions and private conservation organizations. NBCI is funded by the 25 participating state wildlife agencies, the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Program and Park Cities Quail.
