Guiding a team or an organization in a new and better direction gives me a kick. Not to be asked to do it, but to succeed with it. Coaching is not about telling people what to do, or about showing them the path. Coaching is about helping people understand there is a path, and helping them find it. To succeed as an Agile Coach in organization-scaled agile transformation projects, you need to tell the story about the better world on the other side of the transformation, to walk the talk on how to get there, to foster security and safety during the journey, and to always be adaptive to changes in the environment around you.
