Chemicals/Solvents
Worked and trained at the plant located in Dallas, Texas from point of hire to June of 1999. Successfully
managed all areas of Operations including laboratory functions. I was instrumental in the completion of QS9000
certification for the Dallas plant. A few of my duties included managing production, transportation, warehousing
and lab functions. In June of 1999, CHEMCENTRAL Corp acquired Continental Industrial Chemicals which
included 3 locations in the Carolina's. Upon the request of the Vice President of Operations, I relocated to
Charlotte NC to manage the entire operations of the recently acquired company. I successfully introduced
company policies and procedures to the Charlotte acquisition. Plant improvements included updating the truck
fleet, wastewater processing and computer system. Improvements included increasing the efficiency of plant
production, working with vendors to control expenses, increasing sales by providing the customer better service
and quality. I provided needed support for sales and worked closely with the sales manager and his sales force
on a daily basis. Provided training and paperwork needed to comply with federal and state regulations. In May
of 2005, I transferred to Houston Texas to manage one of our newly formed subsidiaries CHEMCENTRAL
International. CC International's business had increased exponentially and I was asked to relocate to manage
export operations. CC International exports chemicals to over 60 foreign countries and is on track to be one
of the most profitable ventures for CHEMCENTRAL (now Univar USA).
