2. How It Works? Pandora is an internet radio site created by the Music Genome Project. Users enter a song or artist they enjoy and Pandora responds by choosing songs musically similar. Pandora uses an automated music recommendation service to select the right song choice. It takes into consideration melody, harmony and rhythm, to instrumentation, orchestration, arrangement, lyrics, vocal harmonies, and 4000 other traits. Users can provide feedback on approval or disapproval of individual songs, which Pandora takes into account for future selections. You make your own stations based in the artists, genre, or songs you like the most. Those stations can be saved into your account so if you want to listen to your favorite artist you just click on the station. You can also click on one of the pre-made genre stations, like rap, hip-hop, and R&B. You can also purchase the music that you like on Pandora with the purchase option. You can also like or dislike the music so it knows how to chose music better the next time.
