I brand non hanno scelta, il
processo di trasferimento delle
chiavi valoriali del brand è
ormai irreversibilmente nelle
mani dei consumatori.

3. The brands must be open
Diventa sempre più difficile per il
brand creare una ambiente di
appartenenza chiuso e denso di valori.
Diventa più impegnativo per le aziende
aggiungere valore alla marca in un
ambiente aperto, collaborativo, co-
creativo e istericamente fuori controllo.

Il brand diventano orizzontali e

5. The brands must be open
Il brand non può più essere un
ambiente chiuso perchè la stessa
globalizzazione che ha portato i
brand in ogni luogo li ha affidati
inesorabilmente e quasi senza
rendersene conto, nelle mani dei
consumatori.

6. The brands must be open
Sono loro, più che i marketing
department, i brand guardian che
possono tutelare il brand e circondarlo di
valori e di significati nuovi. Nuovi persino
per il brand.
Non è più esclusivamente il brand ad
offrire ai consumatori esperienze e
sensazioni legate alla marca ma sono
anche questi ultimi a creare esperienze
nuove che usano e trasformano la marca.

velocemente, a qualsiasi costo; vendere o
chiudere !

amato, ventennale “iconic” logo.
utilizzato.
“Of course a brand is more than a logo, but as far as logos go, Gap's
is an icon. Across the internet detractors have been picking apart the
new look, with the most common sentiment being that it looks like
something aRiservato created using a clip-art gallery.”

19. Save the Music
Come contrappasso viene scelta, Killing in the name una
canzone dei Rage Against the Machine gruppo rock
decisamente radicale.
Documento Riservato

20. Save the Music
Il singolo dei Rage Against The Machine viene
downloadato 503.000 volte contro le 451.000 di “The
Climb” ed i proventi (oltre 100mila sterline) vengono
donati in beneficenza.

21. Brand with personality
I brand intesi quindi come riferimenti sociali e culturali
brand caratteristiche umane.

23. Brand with personality
“Steve,
Enjoyed the presentation today. But … this new iTunes logo
really sucks. You’re taking 10+ years of instant product
recognition and replacing it with an unknown. Let’s both
cross our fingers on this….”
La risposta di Jobs, secca come sempre.
“We disagree”.
