I. Discussion:
/ At this age the pupils can’t read and write, yet./
Teddy bears are painted without sex differences. Children have to answer following
questions: Where are the bears? What are they doing? Who is who and why?
II. All of the students answered, that this situation is at home.
Mother - bear is serving a cake, father - bear is watching TV and the baby -bear is
playing.
Teacher’s question : Why don’t you suppose that the bear who is sitting in the
armchair is the mother?
III. Interesting pupil’s answer:
Because men are lazier than women.
Among the humans is the same, mothers are taking care of the children,
cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing….

8. II nd grade AIMS:
1. Realizing the problem of gender equality in the light of their
topical roles in the family;
2. Increasing the sensibility of the yang people in relation to the
existing stereotypes in the everyday life and manifestations of
discriminative practices towards women.
3. Activities: Each student conducts an inquiry about the role of
both sexes in the family with their parents and where it is possible
with parents (grandmothers and grandfathers).
4. Exemplary questions for the inquiry:
Which activities are considered „female” and which „ male”?
How many hours weekly spend the wife and how many the
husbands for household activities?
Who takes a decision about the future of the children?
10. The students draw pictures at home, in which they have painted
what their parents do usually during the weekend / cooking;
washing; cleaning, care of the children/, e.x…..
