In marine environments there are many sources of noise that can affect the
quality of your communications, such as engine noise, breaking surf and
more. The IC-M36 automatically adjusts the outgoing voice and the
incoming audio to compensate for the ambient noise level: whether you're
in a loud environment or in a quiet area, the IC-M36 ensures your radio
conversation is sent and received as clearly as possible.
Continuing the legacy of the IC-M34, the IC-M36 floats back up to
the surface if dropped overboard, even if the optional speaker
microphone, HM-165, is attached.
And yes, it floats too!

LOUD button
When you need an instant “boost” in the
volume, a simple push of the “LOUD” but-
ton gives you full volume immediately. In
addition, holding the “LOUD” button mutes
the audio output.
Noise cancelling microphone
The sub-microphone on the rear panel inverts
phase and cancels out ambient noise from the
main microphone. As a result, the IC-M36 re-
duces the affect of background noise (particu-
larly trebly noise) from the transmitted signal and
makes it easier to catch voice communication.
Automatic volume adjustment
When in an engine room or high noise en-
vironment, the sub-microphone detects the
ambient noise and the IC-M36 automati-
cally increases the volume output to suit the
surrounding environment.
Low power consumption
Although the IC-M36 delivers a high 6W RF
output and 700mW audio output, its current
saving circuit offers a practical 8 hours* of
operating time with the supplied 980mAh
Lithium-Ion battery pack.

Large buttons and slim dimensions
Thanks to the large, easy-to-operate but-
tons, the IC-M36 provides intuitive opera-
tion. A pinched-waist slender body makes it
easy to hold and carry the radio, and is sur-
prisingly compact for a floating radio.

VOR navigation*
The IC-A24/E has VOR navigation func-
tions. The DVOR mode shows the radial to
or from a VOR station and the CDI mode
shows the course deviation to/from a VOR
station.You can also input your intended ra-
dial to/from the VOR station and show the
course deviation on the display. In the USA
version, the duplex operation allows you to call a COM channel, while
you are using VOR navigation. (* IC-A24/E only)
External DC power jack
An external DC power jack allows for operation
with the wall charger, BC-167 or the cigarette
lighter cable, CP-20. When the battery pack is in-
stalled, simultaneous charging during operation is
also possible. In addition, an optional battery case,
BP-208N, is available.
Water resistant construction
The water resistant construction provides reliable
operation in wet conditions.

Easy to use while ﬂying
Simple one-handed operation is the most
essential feature of the IC-A24/A6 series.
The well labeled, large keypad provides user
friendly operation. The large display shows
both letters and numbers and is easy to see,
making for fast frequency recognition. The
display is backlit, and so is the keypad. The
light stays on until you turn it off – a very
handy feature for flying at night.
“Flip-ﬂop” channel recall
The IC-A24/A6 series stores the last 10 chan-
nels used. You can easily recall those chan-
nels by pushing the “flip-flop” recall
buttons on the front panel. It is con-
venient for switching between several chan-
nels, such as NAV and COM channels.

Because air band radios are usually
operated in high-noise environments, it is
essential for the radio to provide loud and
clear audio. The IC-A14/S series employs a
BTL amplifier that doubles the audio output,
offering loud and clear audio that’ll cut through
cabin or tarmac noise. (* Internal speaker only)
Full keypad type or Simple keypad type
The IC-A14 full keypad type allows you to input
the channel or frequency directly and has an
exclusive button for the 121.5MHz emergency
channel. The IC-A14 receives NAV and WX
channels. The IC-A14S simple keypad type
provides simpler operation with a minimum
of buttons that is suitable for ground crews.
Compact, light weight and
rugged body
The IC-A14/S series is compact (only
120mm tall) and light weight (approx. 350g
including antenna and BP-232N). The water
resistant construction, equivalent to IPX4,
provides reliable operation in wet conditions.
Large capacity Lithium-Ion
battery pack
With the 2000mAh large capacity Lithium-Ion
battery pack, BP-232N, the IC-A14/S series
provides stable output power and 18 hours
long (approx.) operating time*. The BP-261,
battery case takes 6 AA (LR6) alkaline cells
for convenient battery backup.

200 channels with memory banks
A total of 200* memory channels can be named with
an 8-character channel name for easy recognition. For
fast and simple operation, these channels can be
grouped into 10 memory banks*.

The IC-78 is a high performance HF transceiver. Innovative features such
as 99 memory channels, high C/N ratio, direct channel entering, data com-
munication capabilities and more, offer easy operation for anyone. All these
features come in a compact, rugged package that can be conveniently used
in a base station or in a vehicle, as you prefer.

With the speaker facing the operator, audio
sounds can be clearly heard without im-
pediment during operation. It is no longer
necessary to manually increase the volume
to try and capture audio sounds.
When the optional CR-338 HIGH STABILITY

Superior basic performance
A 4-element system is employed for the 1st
receive mixer, providing superior receive
IMD, especially from in-band, nearby inter-
fering signals. A well-designed double-con-
version system to help minimize image and
spurious responses for better signal fidelity,
is also built-in. A newly designed PLL circuit
has been adopted to improve C/N ratio
characteristics. The combination of the 4-
element system mixer and new PLL circuit
allows superior basic performance.
An affordable 99 duplex memory channels
are available for storing individual transmit
and receive frequencies, operating mode,
filter setting, as well as 8-character channel
names. You can enter channel assign-
ments easily from the 10-key pad. In addi-
tion, an extra 1 call memory is available for
storing the most often used, or most impor-
tant frequency. An independent, one-touch
recall switch is available.
The IC-78 is equipped with a large easy-to-
read LCD. A minimum number of switches
and controls allow for superior feature se-
lectability. Keys access functions directly–
there’s no secondary function key. You can
enter your operating frequency*, or mem-
ory channel number directly from the 10-
key pad.

frequencies and polarization are
also selectable.

Remote control Microphone
The supplied HM-151 remote control micro-
phone allows you to control often used
functions of the IC-7000. This includes band
hopping with Icom’s Triple Band Stack reg-
isters.
2-mode band scope
The band scope function lets you watch
conditions around the band. In Center
mode the band scope is centered on the re-
ceiving frequency. In Fixed mode the band
scope sweeps a fixed range.
2 ×× DSP
That’s two times the DSP in the IC-7000 that will leave many base
station rigs in the noise! While it is too early to list all the great fea-
tures, here are a few to keep you talking!
Improved AGC loop performance
With Multiple AGC loops, you will never experience AGC pumping
from a signal filtered out by the DSP! The digital IF filter and manual
notch filter are included in the AGC loop, so you will never encounter
AGC blocking. As with the 756PROIII and IC-7800, the AGC time con-
stants are adjustable for slow, middle, fast for each operating mode.
Digital IF filters
All the filters you want at your fingertips! You will never have to pur-
chase “Optional” filters as the IC-7000 has 41 different filter widths.
You just dial in the width you want and select whether you want a
sharp or soft filter shape for SSB and CW modes. Then to pull-in
the the weak ones, a quick turn of the the concentric twin PBT
knobs, allow you to either narrow the IF
passband, or shift the entire passband to
eliminate the QRM.
2 ×× MNF (Manual Notch Filter)
Pull out the weak signals in crowded band conditions with Icom’s
NEW two-point MNF manual notch filter. Apply 70 dB of rejection to
two signals at once! Notch width is ad-
justable – wide, medium, and narrow – and
an auto-tuning notch filter is available, too.

Setting a new standard for ground based communications,
the IC-A110 /EURO provide durability and reliability in de-
manding operational environments.
● Capable of being installed in any vehicle
IC-A110/EURO are adaptable to vehicles working on a 12 V,
as well as a 24 V power source.
● Front mounted loud speaker
A loud speaker mounted in the front of the transceiver is free of
any obstacles blocking audio reproduction. And 10 W, of pow-
erful output power is available for the external speaker.
● Dial selection
With a simple rotation of the dial, frequently used memory chan-
nels, or desired frequency selection can be made.
● Memory channel name capability
Up to 7-character memory names can be assigned for each
channel. Allows simple and quick channel recognition and se-
lection.
● Side tone function
Operator’s transmitted messages and calls are audio modu-
lated and can be heard by standard airband headsets*, even in
the most demanding operating airport conditions.

● Convenient on hook scan functions
Hanging the microphone on the mic. hanger activates the auto
scan function. When released, the transceiver will return to the
last used, or priority channel, depending on the selection.

Tough and reliable construction
The IC-F15/S series is built around an alu-
minum die-cast chassis and covered with
tough polycarbonate casing. This radio is
built to last. Its dual slide rail securely locks
the battery to the radio. The battery termi-
nal is covered with a non-corrosive rubber
packing. The belt clip is clamped between
the radio and the battery, making it nearly
impossible to knock loose.
Simple operation
Having only 3 buttons, volume and chan-
nel knobs, the IC-F15/S series does not
require special training to use. Positive

The IC-F3003 series is so easy to use there's
no special training required. The few knobs
and buttons are generously sized for easy op-
eration and are designed to provide non-slip,

The built-in bridge-tied load (BTL) amplifier
offers powerful 800mW* audio output from
the large 45mm speaker. The radio delivers

military rugged
While the radio is a compact unit with a
height of only 111mm, the radio is tested
to dust protection and water resistant
equivalent to IP54 and 11 categories of MIL-

IC-F3003 series is built rugged!
Internal VOX capability for
hands-free operation
The radio has the internal VOX capability for
hands-free operation. Optional compatible
headset with plug adapter cable OPC-2004
can be used with the radio. Also, the VOX
gain and VOX delay time are adjustable.
Selective calling,
quiet stand-by and more
2-Tone and 5-Tone signalings give you
selective calling, quiet stand-by and other
convenient functions with programming. The
radio “stun” function disables a radio over
the air and the “revive” function restores the
stunned radio.
Scan features
The priority scan allows you to monitor one
or two priority channels while scanning
other non-priority channels. The Tx channel
and talk back functions allow you to make

Lone worker function
When the radio is not operated for a pre-
set period, the radio sounds a beep and
requires you to push any button. If the
radio is not operated for a preset time, an
emergency signal automatically transmits
and informs your co-worker that some-
thing may have happened to the individ-
ual worker.
Mode dependent scan
In the mode dependent setting, the scan-
ning setting is dependent on the operating
channel. When you change the operating
channel, the scanning list automatically
changes to the list set for that channel. It
is convenient when you move to a differ-
ent operating area and change an operat-
ing channel, you don’t have to change the
scanning setting.

protection against water and dust equivalent to
IP67. The IC-F3032S series can withstand 1m
depth of water for 30 minutes and its dust-tight
construction that prevents the ingress of powder
