My passion is geology. I love learning about the earth and how it works. I am starting a research project with one of my professors dealing with the Huckleberry Ridge Tuff from the Yellowstone I caldera. This research will use the tuff's densities at different elevations to determine the number of ash flows that make up the Huckleberry Ridge Tuff. I am excited to get outside and start collecting samples. I also enjoy using ArcGIS to create maps and do spatial analysis. There are a number of questions that can be answered using GIS.
