Personal reference letter for Bill Everett's leadership at Chick-fil-A
1. November 25, 2014
Please consider this letter as my personal reference for Mr. William(Bill) Everett.
Bill has worked with me at Chick-fil-A in Cypress, Texas for four years. I have come to count on
him as a valuable member of my leadership team. Bill leads in several ways. First and most
importantly he leads by example. He demonstrates the Chick-fil-A corporate purpose of having
a positive influence on everyone he comes in contact with. I have found Bill to be of strong
moral character with values that are reflected in his care and concern for others. Bill has filled
the roll of Training Director at my restaurant and helped me to prepare for the opening of a
second FSR this past August. His role and impact has expanded this year (2014) as he has taken
on additional responsibilities as a TOS Trainer with Chick-fil-A Inc. Bill has increased his impact
to operators and leadership of many Chick-fil-A restaurants with this work.
Beyond his impact at my Restaurant and within Chick-fil-A, Bill has been an influencer on me
personally as well. I can’t say enough about the importance of having a man of his integrity,
values, and strength of conviction in my unit and around my team. The influence that he has
made is not an easily measurable thing, but I am positive that his presence has made a
difference in the lives of our team members and that has reflected in our service to our guests
and has helped us to reach sales levels that not long ago seemed impossible. Over the last few
years I have received many questions from other operators and home office staff about what it
is that has propelled us into where we are today. The easy answer is our team, but the difficult
part of that is teams are only as good as the leaders on the team. So I can say this with
assurance: Bills leadership impact on the whole unit has been critical in our success.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to be involved in the development of many team
members in all positions and I have had many that were great workers and had potential but
lacked the personal integrity to advance. I have been blessed with a few that had it all and
have become men and women that I am proud to say that I had a small part in their
development. I know that whatever Bill does he will continue to impact positively and will do it
with the values that he shares with Chick-fil-A. I am proud to say Bill is a friend and I love having
him on my team. My hopes are that Bill will be able to continue to expand his impact and
influence on others in a greater capacity in the future.
