After over 33 years of Federal Government service with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, I realized I still enjoyed and looked forward to the interactions with not only my former associates in the Government but also people in the beverage alcohol industry. Contributing to the dialogue surrounding wine, malt beverage and spirits products and government relations continues to be exciting and cool! Expanding the understanding of the valuable role played by industry in partnership with government is a core mission in my current job. With dramatic changes in both the mix of regulatory oversight and new products, my association role has stayed busy and full of opportunity.
