24. OBJECTIVES -- LONG TERM
• Ensure universal coverage and improve access to safe and
quality family planning and reproductive health services to
the most remote and far flung areas of the Province by
2025
• Raise contraceptive prevalence rate to 60 per cent by 2030
• Strive expeditiously to attain replacement level fertility
from 3.8 births at present to 2.1 births by 2030
• To reduce population growth rate from 2.2 % to 1.1% by
2030
25. OBJECTIVES-- SHORT TERM
• Actively promote Healthy Timing and Spacing of
Pregnancy (HTSP) messages to reach out all women
• Ensure necessary contraceptive security at all service
delivery outlets
26. STRATEGY
• We will visit director general family welfare office.
• We will also visit health centers
• We will conduct interviews of the doctors to know about
health of a mother and children
• We will distribute pamphlets and booklets regarding
population awareness
• Seminar can also be conducted for awareness
• Awareness can also be done with the help of social media
