ENGLISH
BEFORE YOU START
Prepare a mind map including a
• clear structure on your topic
• clear message
• logical order
CONTENT AND FORMAT
• Prepare a table of content in order to provide an
overview of your presentation topic(s) to your
audience
• List your main questions/messages individually to
ensure your audience can grasp and remember them
more easily
• Try to list short bullet points for readability and
attention reasons; additionally, you may always take
extra notes in most software
• Include images/diagrams and visual elements to
support the information you present
• Avoid too many special effects since they might
overwhelm your audience
MEDIA
• Choose the media you would like to make use of (e.g.
flip chart, power point etc.)
• You might also combine media
REHEARSAL
• Rehearse your presentation with a colleague or a
native speaker that you may know in order to beat
your nerves, to possibly improve your pronunciation,
and to see whether you can keep the timeline
DURING THE PRESENTATION
• Try to find an accurate speed to make sure your
audience can follow at any time
• If possible, include your audience partially to the
presentation by interaction (e.g. ask whether there
are any questions/additional comments)
• Keep SMILING
