THE LAC GUÉRET EXTENSIONS GRAPHITE PROJECT is
located in Côte Nord, Quebec, three hours drive from Baie-
Comeau in an area of very good infrastructure and where
Mason Graphite is planning to build a new graphite mine
and processing plant.
The project directly borders Mason Graphite’s advanced
Lac Guéret Project to the south and east, and shares a
similar prospective geological environment as Mason
Graphite’s property, including along strike stratigraphic
units, structures and electromagnetic anomalies. Mason
Graphite’s project has a NI 43-101 compliant Proven +
Probable mineral reserve of 62.875 million tonnes grading
17.2% Cgr and a positive feasibility study (November 2015)
with robust economics.
In 2014 Berkwood flew an electromagnetic (“EM”) airborne
geophysical survey over it’s Lac Gueret South Block and
successfully identified several EM anomalous zones. In
January 2016, Berkwood announced results of a follow up
ground EM survey to better define the Zone 1 and Zone 2
anomalies.
• Zone 1 is 2,000 meters long and 50-600 meters wide. An
800m by 300m portion of this anomaly is interpreted as
a bulk graphite zone within the hinge of a complex fold.
• Zone 2 measures 1,000m long by 60m in width and is
located along strike of Mason Graphite’s GC Zone
• Both anomalies are similar in strength and occur in the
same geological units as Mason Graphite’s GC Zone
CORPORATE PLANS
With recent changes in senior management, Berkwood is now seeking new business opportunities to rebuild the
company.
