In my interactions with Barbara through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), it has become quite
apparent that she would be successful in any job she holds. Barbara served as a liaison and coordinator
for LLS’s largest fundraiser, and I worked closely with Barbara as a top fundraiser for this event. Barbara
was incredibly attentive and supportive, ensuring that our team had everything we needed to achieve
success both for ourselves and for LLS. She is a strong communicator, and she not only made sure to keep
us constantly informed of LLS happenings and fundraising progress, but she went above and beyond by
providing us with personal attention and support at our fundraising events. She showed a great deal of
compassion to our team and gave us tips for effectively sharing our story with others. Given her level of
care in her position with LLS, any organization would be lucky to be a part of Barbara’s team.

It was my pleasure to work with Barbara Lewis this year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Barbara
helped me compose a very professional letter to family and friends to request donations … my husband
and I had struggled every year to get that letter on paper, and she was so helpful and prompt sending
suggestions and corrections faster than I could respond. Barbara is very engaging and a great listener. She
can make you feel comfortable on first meeting her, yet she can maintain her professionalism. She has
just the right touch with people that have been through challenging events in their lives, and I wish her
the best! She would be an asset to any company that employs her.
