This document outlines a proposed web portal for a blood donor database. The portal would allow users to search for blood donors and access information about blood donation organizations. It would provide secure registration and profile management for donors, volunteers, recipients and administrators. The system would display up-to-date blood stock details for hospitals and blood banks and allow online requests and fulfillment of blood units. It would also accept feedback and suggestions from users.

2. Objective
The Objective of this project is to develop a system
through which a user can communicate and access
information about a particular blood donor and blood
providing organizations.
For example red- cross society is an organization which
provides blood for the people and many organizations.
This Website also provides suggestions to the particular
donor or organization.
This website allows a common people to join as a donor.

3. EXISTING SYSTEM
This existing system is not providing secure registration and profile
management of all the users properly.
This manual system gives us very less security for saving data and
some data may be lost due to mismanagement.
Present system takes a lot of time to track user complaints about lost
items.
The system is giving only less memory usage for the users.
This system does not ensure secure transfusion of blood.
This system does not maintain proper details about blood donations
and blood transfusions.
This system doesn’t include hospitals as sources of blood.
This system doesn’t provide feedback/ suggestions mechanism.

4. PROPOSED SYSTEM
The website will display information about all the hospitals and the
blood banks including their blood stock details.
 Provides facility for instance search for donor and registration for the
users to ensure security.
Requests for various blood units are accepted and granted online.
Volunteers can post the details of blood donation camps and their
future activities.
Gives motivation to the public about blood donation and displays
update news about blood donation camp.
The administrator can ensure the system to be more informative by
adding new hospitals and blood banks.
Users are provided option to edit their profile and status.
Accepts feedback/suggestions from users.
