BPI group has established this Executive Employment Trends Report to offer visibility into the current executive job
market. We are committed to quality and results in our career transition programs, and believe that keeping a careful eye
on trends in the market is an important way to ensure we are meeting the needs of our executive transition clients.
The findings of this report are based on a survey of our executive clients who have completed their job search. Included
in this April 2012 report are executives who began and completed their career transition during the period of Q1 2011 to
Q1 2012. Going forward, we will be releasing the Executive Employment Trends Report on a quarterly basis – allowing
us and you greater insight into the executive job search market.
The Executive Employment Trends Report includes analysis of the following executive employment trends:
Average length of the executive job search
How the length of the job search is impacted by various factors, including:
Base Salary Level
Education Level

Age
We look forward to continuing to share the latest trends in executive employment. If you would like to learn more about

About Executive Outplacement Services
As a result of BPI group’s coaching, I approached my
search with more confidence and enthusiasm than I
thought possible…There is no doubt that working with
BPI group made my search more productive and wide-
ranging than it would otherwise have been. They were
with me the entire way.
- Cherie, landed as Chief Information Officer
with a $600M Packaging Distributor
“Your help and support made a huge difference in how I
navigated my transition. I was amazed at how many
leads for "real" jobs I received from you. Unlike the job
boards, these were directly from recruiters or companies,
which really cut down on the lead time to having a real
first interview. The networking and introductions you
made on my behalf were invaluable to me, not only in my
search, but also in my professional development.
- Pamela, landed as Director of Talent Development
at a leading Talent Management Software Firm
