tudents who are taking up
Smanagement studies at the present
juncture are blessed. For the academic,
business and social environment around
them are changing for the better or so I
believe.
The content of management studies and its
relevance to society is under scrutiny. The
chances are that the younger generation will
now be able to imbibe knowledge which
would be more society relevant and help
understand and solve society’s pressing
problems.
The business environment, I believe, is
changing for the better, propelled by a
greater degree of optimism. This is no doubt
caused by a turn, for the better in the
economy.
The social environment is also becoming
more self-aware and there is a distinct move
towards “responsible business”, which we are
emphasizing in BIMTECH. Our students will
be very well prepared to shoulder the
responsibilities in this area in a better way.
Latest concepts in management like design
thinking and data analytics which are
incorporated in our studies are aimed at
solving the customer’s problems effectively.
Our curriculum vetted by industry is a step
ahead in meeting tomorrow’s requirements.
BIMTECH prides itself in offering a totally
inclusive atmosphere for students from all
parts of India. Their mentoring and
grooming is in the capable hands of very
experienced faculty.
I’ve great pleasure in warmly welcoming the
bright young men and women across the
country to “experience” BIMTECH, which
provides a stimulating ambience to actualize
dreams either as a budding entrepreneur or
a corporate leader.

SALIENT FEATURES OF THE PROGRAMME
Globalization of business is the order of the
day. In financial services, pharmaceuticals,
beverages, motorcars and popular music
industries, indeed in every important area,
Indian firms - large and small - are winning
internationally. You may want to study
international business to understand the
developments in this field, the challenges in
managing international businesses, and the
different approaches to accomplish them. Or
you may want to study international business
because employers know that their future
depends on their success in the world
economy and so they need to recruit those
who will make that happen.
The myriad faces of international business are
fascinating. This is a vehicle which brings
together different strands of business done
by different people in different countries,
coming from different conceptual structures
and bringing with them different intellectual
containers. You will not only study
international business but will experience it
too. The Centre for International Business and
Policy has been striving to be a leader in
providing students and business managers
with the skills to understand foreign cultures
and business practices and to perceive and
grasp overseas marketing and investment
opportunities to overcome language barrier
and to deal effectively with foreign
governments.
The course enables the participants to
understand the working of the global
economies and offers a hands-on approach
to global management challenges faced by
companies, in a global geopolitical
environment. The course includes classroom
as well as experiential components.

BIMTECH’s Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR)
performs an enabling and empowering function for its
students. It’s activities revolve around persuading
suitable corporates to the campus, sharing placement
related information with students, offering continuous
inputs on soft skills, industry/company related
knowledge bits, competency enhancing information,
holding internship workshop, updation of current
events, anchoring and dissemination of question banks
generated from campus engagements, initiation and
strengthening of student networking with corporates
etc.
CCR is also tasked with the production of Placement
Brochure and other promotional material for
distribution to corporates.
Curriculum Vitae writing skills, soft skills workshops and
arrangement of special lectures by leading recruiters,
pre-placement talks, sharing of audio, video material to
enhance student competencies etc. are also part of
CCR’s remit. Besides, providing supplementary study
material from Manpower (American Management
Association) is also arranged by CCR. CCR is also
anchoring the promotion of MOOCs (like COURSERA,
Edx etc.) in the campus. This is in addition to making
available the services of XED Knowledge portal and
Oyster.com portal to students for updating general
awareness and facilitating online projects respectively.
One of the most prestigious student conduits i.e.
BIMTECH Placecom Team, is constituted and mentored
by CCR with assistance from about 12 experienced
faculty to provide students opportunity to liaise with
senior BIMTECH alumni, recruiters and also potential
recruiters. About 20 Placecom team members along
with CCR faculty travel to different cities in India to call
on existing and potential recruiters and make
presentations to them about BIMTECH’s activities -
which incidentally, also acts as a “leadership
apprenticeship programme” for students. CCR
Placecom students are also especially trained in soft
skills, research skills etc.
The CCR team participates in the NHRDN and other HR
community activities to keep in touch with leading
recruiters.
All in all, BIMTECH’s placement and summer internship
efforts are majorly student driven, with CCR playing an
enabling, capacity building and guidance role.
The Centre which is a beehive of activities throughout
the year, is headed by a senior Professor and is assisted
by three experienced managers and is also supported
by a few dedicated faculty.“ To ensure the best possible
placement and training outcomes for BIMTECH
students consistent with their preferences and choices”
is the mission of BIMTECH’s Centre for Corporate
Relations, which it tries to materialize with the help of
all its stakeholders.

  • 6. tudents who are taking up Smanagement studies at the present juncture are blessed. For the academic, business and social environment around them are changing for the better or so I believe. The content of management studies and its relevance to society is under scrutiny. The chances are that the younger generation will now be able to imbibe knowledge which would be more society relevant and help understand and solve society’s pressing problems. The business environment, I believe, is changing for the better, propelled by a greater degree of optimism. This is no doubt caused by a turn, for the better in the economy. The social environment is also becoming more self-aware and there is a distinct move towards “responsible business”, which we are emphasizing in BIMTECH. Our students will be very well prepared to shoulder the responsibilities in this area in a better way. Latest concepts in management like design thinking and data analytics which are incorporated in our studies are aimed at solving the customer’s problems effectively. Our curriculum vetted by industry is a step ahead in meeting tomorrow’s requirements. BIMTECH prides itself in offering a totally inclusive atmosphere for students from all parts of India. Their mentoring and grooming is in the capable hands of very experienced faculty. I’ve great pleasure in warmly welcoming the bright young men and women across the country to “experience” BIMTECH, which provides a stimulating ambience to actualize dreams either as a budding entrepreneur or a corporate leader. Dr. H. Chaturvedi messagefromthedirector The social environment is also becoming more self-aware and there is a distinct move towards “responsible business”, which we are emphasizing in BIMTECH. welcome

Or you may want to study international business because employers know that their future depends on their success in the world economy and so they need to recruit those who will make that happen. The myriad faces of international business are fascinating. This is a vehicle which brings together different strands of business done by different people in different countries, coming from different conceptual structures and bringing with them different intellectual containers.
