Undertakes merchandise counts in the presence of the
representatives of the borrower and our Bank’s Internal Auditor up

on pledging merchandise to the bank,
Registers the pledged merchandise in the appropriate stock card (bin
card),
Ascertains that the sum insured amount can fully cover the
approved merchandise limit and the due date of the insurance is
active and reports same to the Credit Department,
Ensures that the merchandise store keys are kept safely,
Undertakes periodic counts of stock to ensure its amount and
physical condition,
Makes sure that written pledge and release requests have got
approval from authorized personnel of the company,
Ensures that the merchandise is insured against all relevant and

Keeps record of stock balance of all merchandise loans and
