ïź Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) is a non-
profit organization of professionals working in or having
an interest in the Information Technological fields. BDPA
is a diverse representation of information technology
professionals.
ïź Membership consist of programmers, analysts,
engineers, managers, chief executive officers, vice
presidents, instructors and entrepreneurs, to name a
few.

Community Outreach Award Winner
Award Category: Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Award is presented to a company/organization that
through IT has made an outstanding contribution to the people of the St. Louis
region.
Award Criteria
The Community Outreach Award winner will have provided the most among all
nominees to the St. Louis region through volunteer efforts from January through
December 2011. Examples of such efforts include helping local learning institutions,
rehabilitation centers, shelters, etc., through efforts that might include but are not
limited to:
âąProviding solutions that enabled the organization to lower their operational costs
âąVolunteering employee time to teach IT skills
âąProviding IT hardware/software at reduced prices or no charge
âąUsing IT to enable delivery of and increasing the service capacity to the targeted
constituents of the not-for-profit services
âąMentoring others in their IT development
âąOffering opportunities to IT students
