Brief History:
I started the work in the Gulf Of Suez Pertroleum Company (JV between BP Egypt and Egypt general
petroleum CO.) in 1997.
Computer skills: Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Project,...), Maximo program

 Senior Operation Engineer: The major task to monitor, review and follow up the plant normal
operation at safe manner and trouble shooting through the safety instruction and keep the Company
policy applying in safe behavior.
 Monitor plant performance, includes identifying problems and submitting reports with
recommendations for a reliable and safe solution
 Production Eng. for sub sea gas wells which controlled from Onshore. Injected methanol at
the well head and the gas pass through Thermouflex heater and Separator.
 Process control room operations.
 Prepared safety procedures for maint. Jobs ( isolation, Flushing, Repairing, Purging, leak and
hydrotest ).
 Initiate the required modifications/upgrading and prepare justification for management approval.
 Oil Movement, metering and piping operations ( Loading, Un loading, Shipping, three terminal at
Ras Shoukheir , Gulf of Suez, operate and monitoring float roof crude oil storage tanks by
Automatic tank gauge ( ATG )
 Participate in HAZOP studies pertaining to proposed modifications.
 Prepare the department Budget through consolidating inputs provided by subordinates, ensuring
that adequate provision has been made for the funding of all planned activities in allocated area.
 Acts as Emergency commander during emergency., with responsibility for deciding on fist-line
intervention action in advance of dedicated emergency service personnel.
 Has considerable autonomy over deciding on work scheduling and planning short- and long term
work programs.
 Provide Technical support to other sections.
 Develop computer programs for process plant monitoring and apply computer simulation models.
 Environment coordinator for Process Dept.
 Work as Area Authority at oil process plant to ensure the work control system are implemented with
company HSE rules
 Onshore Water flood plant.
Oil Treating:
The oil treating plant at Gulf of Suez Pet. Company was designated to treat about 1MMBFPD and
consist of 9 ea Free water K.O Drums, 14 ea plate Heat Exchangers, 4 ea vertical sep.( hemispheroid ),
5 ea crude oil pumps, 4 ea plate heat exchangers, 8 ea direct fire heaters, 7 ea desalters and 13
storage tanks

2. Waste Water Plant: Skim the Oil in water in skim tanks and recycled to process plant ( Skim
tanks, Slop oil tanks, Ponds
Water Flood Plant: Treated the sea water before injection to the water injection wells ( lifting
pumps, Strainers, Hypochlorite generator, CLARIFIER, Sand filters, DEAERATOR, Injection
pumps
Job Duties and Responsibilities:-
 Assist in achieving Company business plan (strategies and goals)
 Monitoring and follow up the plant normal operation and assist in solving the operation trouble
shooting.
 Achieve the company target.
 Follow up, monitoring and review the daily work reports and facilities performance and develop
scorecards for monitoring operating parameters.
 Prepare plan and follow up the PM program and U/T survey of process facilities (vessels, piping)
and follow up the implementation of recommendations to avoid failure and oil spill
 Follow up the daily activities and Plant performance.
 Perform Maximo work ordering and purchase ordering and follow up the ordering.
 Co-ordinate with different performing divisions to achieve the required maint.
 Initiate the required modifications/upgrading and prepare justification for management approval.
 Maintain data base and conduct the required analysis to recommend corrective actions
 Monitoring and review the chemical injection doses and results to optimize the cost.
 Assist. in budget preparation review and follow up the actual cost versus forecast to optimizing
the cost.
 Process control room operations.
 Monitoring the storage tanks operation by automatic tank gauging and operate the storage and
lifting operation from the control room.
 Prepare contingency plan for the critical facilities.
 Applying the safety instructions for personnel and facilities.

division.
