2. Artificial intelligence (AI, also machine intelligence, MI)
is Intelligence displayed by machines, in contrast with
the natural intelligence (NI) displayed by humans and
other animals. In computer science AI research is
defined as the study of "intelligent agents": any
device that perceives its environment and takes
actions that maximize its chance of success at some
goal. Colloquially, the term "artificial intelligence" is
applied when a machine mimics "cognitive" functions
that humans associate with other human minds,
such as "learning" and "problem solving".

autonomous vehicles (such as drones and
self-driving cars), medical diagnosis,
creating art (such as poetry), proving
mathematical theorems, playing games
(such as Chess or Go), search engines
(such as Google search), online assistants
(such as Siri), image recognition in
photographs, spam filtering, prediction of
judicial decisions and targeting online
advertisements.

October 2017, the robot became
a Saudi Arabian citizen, the first

She was designed to look like Audrey
Hepburn was a British actress and
humanitarian who died at the age of 63
due to Appendiceal cancer. Hepburn’s
classic beauty: porcelain skin, a slender
nose, high cheekbones, an intriguing smile,
and deeply expressive eyes that seem to
change color with the light.
Sophia is known for its human-like
appearance and behavior compared to
previous robotic variants. According to the
manufacturer, David Hanson, Sophia uses
artificial intelligence, visual data processing
and facial recognition.

creates amazingly expressive and lifelike robots that build trusted and
engaging relationships with people through conversation. They focus on
building robots that teach, serve, entertain, and will in time come to truly
understand and caring about humans.
