Vision, Mission and Values
The major values of Sunshine Corporation are its prestige, the ability
of creating the difference and leading the field, in the meantime its
having the ultimate corporate executive standards among directors and
workers, the ability of collaborating and associating with domestic,
especially foreign capital with the principle of sustainability. Under the
frame of these core values, the codes of conduct set off the behaving
structure of our company. All of our workers comply with the criterias
and rules.
Vision, Mission and Values
Our company aims at being credible, responsible, accountable, visible and
transparent toward our stakeholders such as; partners, shareholders, workers,
suppliers, business associates, competitors, society, environment and
humanity. Our company acts according to the instructions, codes, international
law rules and business ethics on the way reaching its aims. We are going to set
off in Mutlu Köy in the direction of our vision which is being an energy-oriented
investment company.
Besides, our company hyper-correctly follows the body of ethic rules below;

● Sunshine Corporation journalizes all the records of reports and financial
statements in accordance with present legislation.
● Sunshine Corporation aims to ensure absolute customer satisfaction,
treats fairly toward all of its customers and create quick and long lasting
solutions acting sensitive to the problems of its customers.
● Sunshine Corporation provides a safe and optimal work environment and
enfranchise the right of organization and collective labor agreement.
● Sunshine Corporation sets the instructional programme which aims to gain
the informations, skills, resources, attitudes and behaviour required and
carry them out, evaluates the results for sake of company.
Codes of Conduct
● Sunshine Corporation potentially provides education opportunities both
domestic and abroad for the workers to improve their craft knowledge and
talents.
● Sunshine Corporation receives opinions of the workers, act accordingly
which indicates that Sunshine Corporation ensures participation of the
workers in the corporate decision-making process.
● Employees of Sunshine Corporation actively participate in any service
which is for sake of the society and public weal. As a responsible and
corporate citizen, they support and enlist social, education, health and
sportive activities.
Informative Public Meetings
In informative public meetings, we are going to have conversations with locals
without appearing before the press and cameras which we will share the positive
sides that new power plant will bring to Mutlu Köy.
You can't imagine how much employment we will provide establishing the biggest
power plant in Turkey. For that matter, there is going to be seen a big increase in
value of lands around Mutlu Köy which will bring new investments. In conjunction
with solar power plant, energy saver resources will be actualised. Establishing such
a big power plant in Mutlu Köy will improve our relations with government which will
provide government assistance blazing trails which also provide accessibility to
schools and hospitals around Mutlu Köy.
Informative Public Meetings
Before press conference and local public speech, we are going to combine the knowledgeable and
notable people to convince them about that power plant only will be for the benefit of the consumers.
We are just going to talk about upsides of the project. We will not damage the lands in no
circumstances. On the contrary, we will plant a lot of trees in order to cut the question marks off in the
minds before the project begins. We will make contact with local community, pay them attention, listen
their fears, wants, desires and act accordingly. Thus we will win them over. In the meantime, we will
prove that economists who allege that electricity prices will increase because of the investment costs
are wrong. Because it is just an allegation, not a truth. Therewithal, getting extra profit margin is only
available in petrol, not in renewable energy power plants. We work with rated prices which can't be
changed which indicates that the economists who allege that the investment costs will increase better
think twice alleging this. We only speak upon something certain.
Informative Public Meetings
We also have just a couple of words for the economists who allege that
investment costs will increase and for the people who can be affected from these
allegations:
If private companies don’t carry out this project, the government will. As late as,
the action which is performed by 3 workers in the state-owned enterprises is
performed by 1 worker in private companies, which is why investment costs are
lower in private companies. We are going to make locals believe that It’s much
better If this business is done by a private company in the sense of both time and

competitive renewable energy market, the CEO of Sunshine Corporation will
mention his organization’s vision was not the creation of one single power plant to
gain much more money, disregarding the environmental facts. The CEO will give
such a brief to press:

operational rules, decreasing the real cost in the mid-term for all the

Sunshine Corporation actualises the projects about security, education, health, innovation and sustainability
that contribute to the society directly. The company gives priority to the issues that affects the society in a
considerable extent. Here is what we are going to do in Mutlu Köy as corporate social responsibility projects.
● We are telling the locals everything we are going to do. Because we guaranteed that we are fully-
transparent towards people. One another significant issue before establishing solar power plant in Mutlu
Köy is that we are going to dig archaeological excavation in the sites where the power plant will be
constructed. We promised that we always act responsibly. As good as our word, In case any antique is
found, those will be delivered to the relevant authority.
● Before establishing the power plant, we are going to plant so many trees around the area which will
benefit us in terms of gaining reputation by the locals. In conjunction with this, planting trees sorts
together with our insight. In this way locals who might think that establishing a new power plant will
damage the lands will not think the way they used to.

● Second corporate social responsibility project is opening schools around Mutlu Köy. Since the
schools for sight-disabled people are very few in Turkey, this project will really make sense. In
the meantime, we are going to open technical schools which not only we provide employment
opportunity for the people but also we will provide education for their families and people around
Mutlu Köy. After they graduate from the technical schools, we will employ these people as
personnels in our company. This is going to be the way we provide sustainability. (!)
● Since we are in Ramadan for the time being, we are going to put up iftar tents which is going to
show that even If Sunshine Corporation is a foreign company, locals are respected in terms of
their beliefs and religions by our company.
● In addition, we are going to provide stationery equipments for the students in our schools, but
what is important is that these equipments will be recyclable, not made by cutting the trees.

● We are going to raise awareness of the locals, because they might not be knowing how to use
energy which is why we are going to give instruction books which made by renewable papers
and CDs of energy use to them to benefit in most efficient way.
● Since we care so much about corporate social responsibility projects, we are going to provide
accommodation for our workers and for their family to keep the family members close to each
other. Hand in hand with these actions, not only we are going to be providing a huge
employment for the people, but also we are going to provide a qualified living space which will
increase their life standards.
● Meanwhile, Lobbying is one of the most significant issues for us. We will co-operate with right
channels for ÇED Report to be positive. (Environmental impact assessment report is must for
our company to certify our operations and activities.) As long as we certify and prove our
activities toward locals, our credibility always will be top.

Anti-crisis Plan
We place emphasis on informative public meetings. In these meetings, we are
going to get in contact with the locals, listen to their concerns about the solar power
plant we are going to establish, we are going to provide the locals to support us by
convincing them. In the same time, they will grab a chance to ask questions and
request something. We will take a close interest in their requests and we always will
keep in touch with them which provide the locals to feel close to us. Because the
locals who will see the company executives in the press conference for the first time
might act like being opinionated and they might give negative reaction in front of the
press or in social media which this causes to a big crisis for the Sunshine
Corporation.
Downside Scenario
An industrial accident in the power plant probably would be the worst scenario that causes the
crisis which led to workers' death that we would face with. In this case, the action we are going
to take first is researching into causes and occasions. However, we are going to show we
feeling sadness about this accident and convey our condolences in the first place. Whereupon,
we are going to present the documents which proves that we have taken all kinds of measures
and quality certificates to manage the crisis in front of the press. As we already touched upon
that all our documents are kept up-to-date, there will not be any setback about that. In addition,
we have mentioned about that we are transparent towards our stakeholders as well as we have
a transparent financial department. We are focusing on this issue, because as all we know that
this trouble was had recently when the most serious industrial accident has happened in
Turkey.
Downside Scenario
Rather than managing the crisis, we are going to defuse the crisis to get over as soon as
possible. We are going to make contact with both the relatives of deceased and workers
wounded in the accident. In spite of the fact that no one can recover the lost, we are going to
compensate as much as we can. We are going to provide their lives, satisfy all kinds of
financial, educational, social needs of them, we will promise them that we will always be in
close connection with them. Thus, we will end up reducing the damage both for the Sunshine
Corporation and for the relatives of deceased and wounded workers.
Furthermore, in case this kind of an accident happens in our power plant, the crisis we would
face with would cause to another big crisis which is that It's given that Sunshine Corporation is
a publicly held company, the shares of Sunshine Corporation in the stock exchange would
crash and there wouldn't be a bigger crisis for us which is why we always take all kinds of
measures.
Opening Event
Since we are establishing the biggest solar power plant in Turkey, our opening event will
create a tremendous impression. In the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister and the minister
of energy and natural resources of Turkey are going to make the opening speech which they
will give the details of the power plant and in the process of its establishing so as the audience
will hear what we already told them from both of them one more time.Besides, we will be
graced inviting the chairmans of the board of some significant foundations such as Greenpeace
and peripheral institutions related to nature and environment. In the meantime, one of executive
board member of a coal power plant which was shut down before will be invited and give a
speech about how much they used to pollute and damage the environment, how much the
costs used to be, but now how lucky the locals of Mutlu Köy are thanks to solar power plant we
are establishing and how promising future is waiting for them.
Opening Event
On the other hand, we are going to organize an opening cocktail for the
audience to create a warm atmosphere before the speeches so as the cooler
atmosphere we create, the more people will join and the more people will
realize that the solar power plant is being established in the public interest. In
conjunction with this, the food and beverages which are going to be served are
going to be completely natural and organic, they will also be prepared with
green and blue vegetables and fruits. Moreover, green and blue colours will
dominate the opening area. Everything will be perfect, the organization will
resound and It will be on the top of the agenda of the media for a while.
Conclusion
After opening, what we will work on are providing maintenance and
sustainability, keeping our promises and moving on under the frame of our
vision which is being an “energy-oriented investment company” and our motto
which is “less is more”.

We will take a close interest in their requests and we always will keep in touch with them which provide the locals to feel close to us. Because the locals who will see the company executives in the press conference for the first time might act like being opinionated and they might give negative reaction in front of the press or in social media which this causes to a big crisis for the Sunshine Corporation.
  • 21. Downside Scenario An industrial accident in the power plant probably would be the worst scenario that causes the crisis which led to workers' death that we would face with. In this case, the action we are going to take first is researching into causes and occasions. However, we are going to show we feeling sadness about this accident and convey our condolences in the first place. Whereupon, we are going to present the documents which proves that we have taken all kinds of measures and quality certificates to manage the crisis in front of the press. As we already touched upon that all our documents are kept up-to-date, there will not be any setback about that. In addition, we have mentioned about that we are transparent towards our stakeholders as well as we have a transparent financial department. We are focusing on this issue, because as all we know that this trouble was had recently when the most serious industrial accident has happened in Turkey.
  • 22. Downside Scenario Rather than managing the crisis, we are going to defuse the crisis to get over as soon as possible. We are going to make contact with both the relatives of deceased and workers wounded in the accident. In spite of the fact that no one can recover the lost, we are going to compensate as much as we can. We are going to provide their lives, satisfy all kinds of financial, educational, social needs of them, we will promise them that we will always be in close connection with them. Thus, we will end up reducing the damage both for the Sunshine Corporation and for the relatives of deceased and wounded workers. Furthermore, in case this kind of an accident happens in our power plant, the crisis we would face with would cause to another big crisis which is that It's given that Sunshine Corporation is a publicly held company, the shares of Sunshine Corporation in the stock exchange would crash and there wouldn't be a bigger crisis for us which is why we always take all kinds of measures.
  • 23. Opening Event Since we are establishing the biggest solar power plant in Turkey, our opening event will create a tremendous impression. In the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister and the minister of energy and natural resources of Turkey are going to make the opening speech which they will give the details of the power plant and in the process of its establishing so as the audience will hear what we already told them from both of them one more time.Besides, we will be graced inviting the chairmans of the board of some significant foundations such as Greenpeace and peripheral institutions related to nature and environment. In the meantime, one of executive board member of a coal power plant which was shut down before will be invited and give a speech about how much they used to pollute and damage the environment, how much the costs used to be, but now how lucky the locals of Mutlu Köy are thanks to solar power plant we are establishing and how promising future is waiting for them.

Opening Event On the other hand, we are going to organize an opening cocktail for the audience to create a warm atmosphere before the speeches so as the cooler atmosphere we create, the more people will join and the more people will realize that the solar power plant is being established in the public interest. In conjunction with this, the food and beverages which are going to be served are going to be completely natural and organic, they will also be prepared with green and blue vegetables and fruits. Moreover, green and blue colours will dominate the opening area. Everything will be perfect, the organization will resound and It will be on the top of the agenda of the media for a while.
